Easygoing Dryer That Compliments the Washer

Okay, so I got this with the HE washer of the same type, and this unit is taking some getting used to. But I'm getting over the obstacles of adjusting to this unit. But first the good: This thing is quiet! I like that it can hold my clothes and it doesn't move around. I do like seeing different options are available; just like its washer counterpart.
Now, please note that these aren't BAD things, but you should be aware of. After having this installed, I've noticed that the "check vent" indicator has been coming on. Now I had to buy an install kit which included a new hose. I'll be easygoing and say that I'd rather have all new items so that I don't have anything worn on new pieces of equipment. Where my units are at, stacked, it is a very tight area. So I had the exterior vent looked at and it was clear. I looked at the hose and it was kinked - this was the result of how it was when it was pushed into place. So after working the kink out the indicator light has come on far less. I should remark that if you had the FAST spin cycle going and the clothes are not sopping like you would have on a medium or slow speed then I've found out the light won't come on. Now, as I'm conscious of my energy I tend to only dry certain things; socks, boxers, PJS, and my bedding.
Also, wipe the seal off. The dryer knows when clothes are wet and you'll see some moisture buildup on the door inside the dryer. But if the seal isn't wiped off that moisture will come seeping out the dryer!
I'm being very conscientious of my new appliances because I don't want to make another emergency purchase like this dryer (and washer) was. I'm not mad that I got them, but my own personal lesson to myself is watch out for what you got!
If you made it in the same boat as I did I am sure you'll agree!

I bought this to replace an old gas dryer that came with the house that I purchased. The simple features from this dryer made everything better and was able to dry my clothes a lot quicker than the gas one which was taking two hours and still going. This dryer will do it around 30 minutes or so. Overall this dryer is awesome!

I can't explain how disappointed we are with this dryer and the quality of whirlpool product , it keeps breaking down, just after three months of usage the control board was changed then after three months the thermostat was changed then again after another three months of usage the control board was replaced again, this dyer should be considered a lemon and should be totally replaced each time the timer works for 10-15 min and the dryer stops working, we received a letter from whirlpool now offering us a discount on the extended warranty, and we might be buying it because we have no other option, even the guy that service it advice us of buying the extended warranty, so i don't believe why people gave this dryer 4.7 rating, are they really customer that bought it or some insider that work at whirlpool, actually even our whirlpool Fridg. brook down too before the one year warranty is over(thanks God) they are also replacing the board, we thought we were buying a good quality U.S. made product when we first purchased all our new whirlpool appliances from best buy less than a year ago.
