    GOOD TASTING WATER, EASY TO CHANGE OUT, EVEN THOUGH THERE WASN'T ONE IN THE REFRIGERATOR WHEN WE BOUGHT IT LIKE FILTER LIGHT INDICATED SAYING IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED

    Haven't used any other filters and don't see the need to. This one works great and delivers fresh tasting water and ice. Very simple to install.

    There are only two people using the filter and one isn't home all day. The filter ran out at exactly 6 months from the time it was installed. For the money I would have hoped it would have lasted longer. But IT DOES make the local water taste better and I would rather use the filtered water on the fridge as apposed to bottle watered. No telling how long that water sat in plastic and in the sin.

    I have previously purchased other brands of water filters, but the water always tasted "funny". We had to purchase a new refrigerator, and this is the filter that came with it. My family are big water drinkers, and this is the best the water has tasted in years. (We also purchased the refridgerator from Best Buy because of the great warranty that they offer.)

    Pro - It is an easy to plug-in and install filter and took less than a minute. Con - there is no indicator to assess filter level. One fine day water flow will slow to indicate to change filter. Warning indicator would have been good.
