I gave it high marks on what it's supposed to do (it washes and dries the dishes). Took 2 stars away due to the design of the panel. I know/understand it's a top control dishwasher and this what we were looking for. The issue is why is the "clean" light so far back that you can't even see it. Only way to see it is to pull dishwasher out of the opening so far out that it sticks out of the cabinets (and now I see controls) or open door and look for light. They have the Blue "Run" light on the front why not change it to be Green when it's Done???

This was great until it suddenly stopped working at 10 months with no warning. It would fill with water and just stop. Since it was under a year old I was sent to Whirlpool for the service call and after dealing with the process will stir clear of Whirlpool in the future. My 1st call, I held for 35 mins before talking to an agent to have a service partner scheduled to come out. About an hour after the call, the service partner text asking me if my dishwasher plugged in under my sink. Since it did not, it was hardwired and they were not cleared to work the electrical end of it and sent me back to Whirlpool. I missed the call back from Whirlpool, they said if I still needed service to call them back, so I did... And held 47 mins for an agent. Immediately told the agent that I had service scheduled but needed a different service partner scheduled. They put me on hold to review the notes and after an hour and 13 mins in the call I finally had a new company scheduled to come out. Whirlpool attempted to charge me for this service call and I said absolutely not and had to remind them I bought the dishwasher 10 months ago. Finally thinking I'm good and then the service provider showed up with notes saying my display panel was bad not the sump pump... So a part had to be ordered... 6 days after that I finally got my dishwasher back. The service tech strongly advised to run 1 cup vinegar and 1 tsp baking soda in an empty dishwasher every 3 weeks as this problem happens a lot, this dishwasher cannot handle the modern dish detergents and builds up residue. So I'm looking forward to more service appointments in the future, but hope to have better service via Best Buy and Geek Squad as they've been great in the past. Just sucks that it feels like any appliance is a gamble anymore, nothing holds up.

Love this dish washer. Very quiet while its running! It does have a longer run time, but thats due to the power dry setting! Purchased at a different retailer after cancelling with Best Buy, due to lack of communication and several phone calls of not knowing what is going on. 10/10 would NOT recommend ordering from Best Buy and shopping local.

This is one of the quitest dishwashers i have ever heard. Love the fearures and the extra space between the racks. Definitely a great buy.

I love this dishwasher. My SO has a Whirlpool dishwasher at his house and I loved it, so when I purchased my own home...I already knew I'd buy a Whirlpool. It's so quiet and cleans really well! Also, it's consistent, all of my dishes come out clean (even with stuck on food).

This dishwasher is an excellent appliance. Gets dishes and others extremely clean. Price was a good deal without having to spend more money on more expensive dishwashers. Worth every penny.
