It's so difficult to find trackers for cats. Usually too big and this one is a little bulky for a cat but it's getting the job done. I'm always worried about where my cat Kyle has run off to. Now I can check exactly where he's located. He's traveling much more and farther than I thought. I can track his path on my phone or computer and receive text messages with the address of his location. Oh, and don't cut off the excess rubber on the sides. They have wire embedded in them for the antenna.

Pros: I get an alert whenever my dog slips out of the fence. No more worrying for hours while searching the neighborhood. Charge lasts for a full month. Cons: Price. Apparently can't track her exercise/activity unless I buy an ACTIVITY monitor which is ANOTHER $80. Plus, I have to pay the monthly fee to use the app. The $80 for the GPS tracker was high enough, the least they could do is include the activity monitoring with that price. It works great, and maybe I'll buy the activity monitor someday, but frankly, I don't walk my dog enough for it to be worth it at this time. Still, if you have an issue with your dog escaping, this works great. It seems a little bulky for small dogs, but my dog never shows sign of noticing it, so I guess it's fine.

This is a great gps tracker but less efficient as an activity tracker. It also has an app that isn't the most user friendly. However it gives detailed information about pets locations and their activity levels.

I purchased this gps tracker as my pet is indoors 90% of the time. I live in an urban area so cars are a major struggle to deal with since pets get run over frequently. This product works exactly as described. I know where my pet is with pretty decent accuracy (within a few feet). The battery lasts for half a week to a week, depending on how much you use the tracker but recharging the device is simple and quick.

My daughters dog is a sprinter and often escaped when we would open the door. She is a mid-sized timid rescue dog, unknown mix breed. She loves being outside, which is fine in our big back yard with our other dog, but would run away when the front door was open and she was not on a leash. I got Nikita the Whistle GPS tracker after she ran away while my mother-in-law was house sitting for us. We found her 24 hours later wandering the woods behind us, cold, scared, very hungry and alone, but now, I know where she is at, even while she is on a walk or at the dog park with my kids. I get a text when she leaves our yard. The set up was easy. The safety zone was adjustable. It has it set up so that I can know where to find her in our neighborhood if she gets out. I also get daily and weekly reports on her exercise, sleep and safety by text and email. That helps me know when I need to get the kids to take her for a walk or to the park. It even notifies me when the battery is getting low and it needs to be recharged. You charge it once a month for just a few hours. I was concerned at first when it said she had left the area, but was really in my lap, but then the settings kicked in and I now love it. It's not too bulky either. I have seen bad reviews on similar items, but I have not had any issues with it. They just need to work through it and figure it out before giving up on it. I love it. I recommend it for anyone who has dogs that love to escape. It gives me peace of mind and keeps her safe.

My dogs have been known to be escape artists and this gives us a bit of piece of mind. The tracker is easy to use, and you get notified via an app if they leave a predetermined location. You can track them using the app (as long as they are still wearing the collar). Easy installation and the app has a lot more features we don't use. I only gave 4 stars because there is a monthly charge for data, can't use your existing data plan.

My only complaint so far is that I didn't find the set up process to very user friendly. Other than that I'm loving it so far. It's nice to let my dog out (I live in a wooded area with no fence) and not have to worry he's going to get lost. I periodically check the app on my phone and can see exactly where he's at. He loves it too because he has some freedom now!

Most recent roaming Romeo's adventure was foiled again. He did get pretty far from home though before we noticed he had sneaked off with the neighbor dog in tow. The tracker showed every move he'd made and there were a lot of them, zigzagging over a mile through the bush across a busy road and into a subdivision. We hopped in the car and drove straight to where he was, just in time to watch him lift his leg on a Blowup Frosty the Snowman. This 100 lb lab was totally busted. We will be installing an invisible fence as well but the Whistle GPS will always come in handy. I can track where my husband is when he's out with "the boys"! And he can track me if I'm out riding my bike or hiking alone. Waterproof too.

It's not clear on packaging that it is a monthly subscription but once you get it unpackaged and set it up it asks for cc number and what plan you would like . It's very neat and awesome product. Once you get it on your dogs collar it's very difficult to remove so I wouldn't be worried about it falling off . I actually returned the product because I just personally just like a one time purchase than a month to month thing .

Bought this to replace my dog's TAGG collar. It helped me find him the one time he ran off chasing squirrels.

Bought this as a gift for my uncle who lost his dog for a week or so over the summer... Luckily he was reunited with his pal that time. Hopefully he never has to use this collar but at least he's got it JIC!

I just put this on my dog so I haven't put it to the test yet. However setup was simple enough. Hopefully I can write another review next time my escape takes off

I just gave it a 4 star because of it size. I wish they develop a smoller one for littles ones like my Chihuahua.

Works great. I have a Shiba Inu escape artist. Last time she got out it was a four hour search before she returned.

I bought this because my dog is afraid of thunder storms and one day he took off blinded by fear. We luckily found him 5 miles away. We haven't had it happen again so we haven't had to track him yet. Hope I never have to. It does track activity sort of like a fit bit for dogs. Only drawback i see so far it that the battery life is really short and you have to constantly keep charging it.

We were not really, in fact not, worried about our dog. We were, however, wondering where our son took the car. So, we placed the tracker in the car. Now, we know where he is anytime he's driving our car.

I used to worry about leaving my pup outside while I was at work, and now I don't have to! Even if he gets out I am confident that we will be able to track him down and the app is very user friendly. I love knowing that I can check on his location whenever I want too.

We purchased this for a friend, as a gift so they can see where the cat goes.

If you put the base where your pet sleeps at night, battery life is even better. I think the battery was at 71% after a week because of that. Works like a charm. Everytime we go on a walk it lets me know she's out of range. Very cool for any Shiba owner.

Not sure however if we have to sign up on line, if there is a monthly fee for the service . Instructions aren't clear . It states free service but also mentions a fee for the service so not too clear. But product itself is decent
