Story line somewhat familiar but the Great acting and powerful action make this movie well worth watching . I thoroughly enjoyed it and anticipate watching it over and over again !! DVD's are great because you can go over the parts you may have missed.

I had seen "Olympus Has Fallen" prior to seeing this one, so I didn't have any great expectations. But danged if I didn't like this one better! The storyline, acting and pace were very much to my liking. And Jamie Foxx as the President? It worked!

Jamie Fox and Channing Tatum was great in this action packed film about the White House being taken over in a plot to change power and control in the most important position, the President. A most see for anyone who likes action. Two thumbs up!

I love the action and suspense this movie offered . This is a great movie for those who have a home theater, and want to show it off. This is similar to Olympus has fallen which is another great one to watch. Enjoy!

White House Down was officially a box office bust, but if you're looking for a movie where stuff gets blown up (in this case the White House & US Capitol) and lots of terrific shoot-em-up scenes, you won't find a better movie!

With as much shoot-'em-up action as this movie has, the research was done, and while not entirely accurate, some of this could theoretically happen (sans the over the top Hollywood style extras added in for effect)

This is a very good family action picture. Those are hard to find. The acting is solid and it moves quite nicely throughout. I didn't find it boring, and although a little predictable at the end, it was satisfying.

Channing Tatum and Jaime Fox have good chemistry in this action movie with humor. Characters are cliche'd, and the plot is simple, but still entertaining when you want to watch a movie without having to think much.

I think the little girl did an excellent job in her role. Channing Tatum's character was a great, loving example of a real father. He was a tremendous example of why we should give people a chance and not just limit people to their past.

This movie my favorite Jamie Foxx movie. Channing is a plus! This movie has action and still pulls on the heart's strings as Channing is determined to protect the president and save his amazingly strong heroic daughter.

Went in not expecting much, but since it was on sale, I thought I would give it a try. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Not an intellectually challenging movie, but good popcorn fodder none the less.

I purchased this after seeing it on TV a few times. Really enjoyable movie if you like action flicks. It's not the deepest storyline ever, but it's a fun romp. Worth watching and re-watching.

It's a must buy! If you have ever watched Die Hard and became a fan of watching the twist plots from those. Then you will enjoy this movie. Great actors, good twisting storyline and excellent humor all bundled within this movie.

I love White House movies and had to get this one. It did not disappoint. Great action, the chemistry between Foxx and Tatum worked well- would watch again!

Another White House takeover?? I took a chance and am glad I did. The last time I grabbed the arms of my chair so hard was Aliens. White House Down was much more believable and had much more action than Olympus Has Fallen.

Lots of action, good stunts, large explosions, many gunfights, standard plot; however, I watch movies like this to be entertained, not for a deeper meaning. I also liked Maggie Gyllenhaal's character.

The movie's not winning any awards anytime soon, but it's a fun, thrilling movie for a lazy afternoon. The picture/audio is up to par, and the special features are nice, if not exhaustive.

This movie surprised the heck outta me. The way everything played out reminded me of the first "Die Hard" movie. Still, it is a fun popcorn movie to be watched by action fans in your circle.

This movie is a great action movie that will deffinately appeal to the action enthusiast. It also incorporates humor in various spots throughout the movie while keeping the viewer on the edge of their seat.

All around it was a good movie. I enjoyed watching it. It was a little predictable. I like Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx. They were both very good in the movie. I would recommend it to my friends.
