Great Freezer for Breast Milk Storage

This is a perfect size for smaller families and those who don't have much space. These freezers became a hot commodity during COVID, as many people wanted to stock up on food that can be frozen. Others wanted to cook more at home and freeze the extras. It's quiet and the energy use per year is estimated at $29. Not too bad because smaller units tend to be less efficient. I have a few beefs with this. One, it's really not stainless. It's a thin stainless panel on the door. the rest of the unit is black. Otherwise, it's very modern looking. There are no shelves on the door, like the one my parents have. (They have a more expensive one they bought from an appliance dealer). That's not a deal-breaker. On the other hand, it will probably freeze better with those door shelves. The thermostat is in the back bottom on the outside of the unit. So, you would have to pull the unit away from the wall to adjust.

Builds frost up quickly. Constant cleaning.

It’s great if you don’t mind defrosting

Defrosting a freezer is so foreign it didn’t even occur to me to check. Other that that it works great. I plugged it in and it was ready to use within 2-3 hours
