Raw, vanity free performance from Reese Witherspoon who even dares to play unlikable at times reminds us what terrific talent she is. I want to see more dramatic character work like this from now on.

A good honest from the heart true movie. I like hiking and when I saw this, I thought this would be a good watch. I love the perseverance of this young lady finding her way to find freedom from her past and pressing forward from her life lessons. I would recommend this movie.

While Café de Flore and Demolition in my opinion are his stronger films, this is still a little gem from Jean-Marc Vallée. Blu-ray has top notch av and extras, including a commentary.

It is a great movie. I redeemed digital HD on iTunes, but it is not a 4K version (only HD). It is very disappointing.

After months of research into Home Theater systems, speakers and processors I purchased the Definitive Texhnology towers and wireless connect. They are awesome with sounds floating in air, great base, modrange and highs. Using with an older Denon receiver and the system still sounds great.

Very good story, and turned out to be a movie we would watch again. Started slow but stick with it. Be careful of the flashbacks can be difficult to follow some times.

I first saw this on HBO and really liked it. I just bought a 4K TV and wanted a good movie to watch for starters. It didn't disappoint! I especially like that it came with a Bluray copy so I can see it on my HD set as well. Good story and good plot as well!

I found myself rooting for strength and determination put forth by Cheryl Strayed. As her life falls in to a downward spiral, she turns herself around through the trip of a lifetime.

I bought this move because it was only 2.99 and it turned out to be a great one. It had a great story line it just was a little too slow thats why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Great back story beautiful scenery, not intended for young children. Pretty true to the book. A lot of scenes could have done without some of the nudity but otherwise a good movie

I looked all over for this movie. Couldn't find it online or off. Finally checked in at Best Buy and found it. And it was WAY on sale. I bought a fairly current film in Blu-ray format for less than $6. My lucky day. From now on Best Buy will be my first stop. Thanks.

The movie has a weird twist in the beginning a little hard to wrap your brain around at first but once I got into I really liked it and wanted to see what happened next .

My wife wanted to see the film, so I watched it with her with no expectations. It was an okay movie, and had an interesting plot. It is not suitable for children!

The movie was very good and seemingly honest in its portrayal of the main character. It was quite interesting to watch, albeit a bit slow in the beginning.

Wonderful movie about a women's journey and who she meets along the way. Story moves well and as she travels, the situations she finds herself in keep you interested.

One of the best performances Reese Witherspoon has turned in. Between this and Dallas Buyer's Club, I'll watch pretty much anything this director does. Highly recommended.

I read all the reviews, it was supposed to be good, but I had a hard time wanting to watch this because how good could a story be about someone walking through the wilderness? I was wrong -- turns out, it's a really great film and I'm just a softy.

I found it a good film and loaned it to a friend who, like the main character, was 'soul searching'. Neat to take a difficult physical journey and reflect on lifes problems.

WILD powerfully captures the terrors and pleasures of one young woman forging ahead against all odds on a journey that maddens, strengthens, and ultimately heals her.

I didn't know much about this movie before watching it but found myself intrigued to see what happens on her journey and the reasoning to why she decided to take it.
