I thought that Wild was a very good movie. Reese Witherspoon does an excellent job in the movie. This is very entertaining and you learn a little something about hiking in the wilderness. The story is also based on a true story.

If you love the outdoors, great movie. The scenes of The Pacific Coast Trail are Beautiful. The story of her going out and discovering herself while hiking the trail is really inspiring. Reese Witherspoon has an amazing performance (I am usually not a fan of hers). If you like to camp, backpack, hike or just enjoy the outdoors, worth the watch.

I buy this for my nieces, both the book and the film. It's the true story of Cheryl Strayed who after the death of her mother and the downward spiral that followed - walked the Pacific Crest Trail in order to find herself again. If you liked the book, you'll enjoy this: It's a thoughtful adaptation that will not disappoint.

Gritty survival movie and a fantastic performance by Reese Witherspoon. You dont see too many from a woman's POV so this is something wroth watching

Wild is an emotional journey from start to finish. The story unfold with flashbacks as Cheryl traverse through stunning landscape to rediscover herself is quiet an experience. With outstanding performance, technical merits, and compelling story, this is a must own film .Blu ray comes with some very enjoyable supplements.

This is a very good film. Reese Witherspoon was well cast; she's very natural. The entire cast was great. This is a good cautionary tale for teens and adults of all ages. Heartbreaking story. Highly recommended.

Read the book by Cheryl Stayed a few months back, and thoroughly loved it. I felt like the movie played our remarkably on point with the book, and Reese Witherspoon seemed to encompass the aura of Cheryl pretty darn accurately (though perhaps a bit less 'gruffly' than in the book). Clearly, I want to now go hike the PCT now.

While it lacks the adventure charm that "The Way" contains, this movie does at least put you right there with the character every step of the way. It really does make you want to travel the Pacific Coast Trail.

This is a very good movie. It really shows how good of a actress Reece Witherspoon really is. I love her in the legally blonde movies , but this really highlights her acting abilities while also telling a great story that will keep you entertained. I bought this movie for a great value and it was well worth every penny.

What can I say? It is Reese Witherspoon! Whatever she does will be popular. It is an intersting movie and she did a very nice job of acting. She also had something to do with the production of it.

Wild has a beautiful heartbreaking performance by Reese Witherspoon in what is basically a one woman show. The Bluray transfer is excellent and the bonus features are plentiful. Love the movie and the Bluray!

Wild was a pretty good movie. Reese Witherspoon gives a great performance. It is definitely not the happiest of movies, but she does such a great job portraying the ups and downs in the life of her character.

I honestly was surprised by this movie. I thought it was going to be silly but it ended up being an endearing film where I rooted for the main character. Pretty inspiring as well.

Wild is certainly a nice change of pace and departure from the usual "cutesy" movies Reese Witherspoon has made a nice living on for years. Started a little slow but I was sucked in once it got rolling.

Our entire family enjoyed this movie so much we’ve watched it more than once. Each time we watch it there is laughing, cringing, nail bitting, daydreaming, reliving, empathizing, and even some men shedding a tear during a few scenes. We love Reese in this part.

I agree with other reviewers about the swearing, but also believe this was the life of this young woman at the time. A fairly gritty and engaging drama about what really happened in her life.

I had heard good things about this movie, and have spent time in some of the areas featured. I enjoyed the Grateful Dead music , and found this to be a rare and realistic presentation of of it, in various life experiences. Also, Reese Witherspoon is a distant cousin, and I have always enjoyed her work.

Young woman tries to find herself walking the west coast trail.. Reeses did a good acting job and enjoyed the pictures of the trail, I had a friend who talk about trying to make this walk..

I like hiking and when I saw this, I was interested in where she was hiking. But the movie was based on true events of her life and how this hiking trip help her come to grips of life events from her pass. The movie was moving and adventurous which I liked. It is a good watch.
