This Tom Petty album edges toward traditional folkrock, reminiscent of the Byrds or perhaps Buffalo Springfield. Well produced and well performed.

At first I didn't like this album. I gave it another try, and I started to like it a bit more. Maybe it's because it's Tom Petty without the Heartbreakes whose sound I didn't expect, more Earthy, in my opinion. As of now, it's still growing on me, and the more I listen to it, the better I like it. I recommend it to Petty fans willing to hear a little different Petty than their used to.

All hits throughout the CD. The guitarist playing and singing is off the charts.The bass lines are right on the money.

Great songs that you know, and although some are a little slow, still has that great T.P. sound

Wildflowers is perhaps Tom Petty's strongest record. He shows that he can be a sensitive balladeer, a raucous rocker, and a humorous storyteller. This is one of a handful of records that I would recommend without reservation to just about anyone, regardless of his or her musical tastes. My favorite tracks are the gentler ones such as "Wildflowers", "To Find a Friend", and "Time to Move On". But on the other hand, the heavier tracks like "Honey Bee" and "You Don't Know How It Feels" are also quite effective.

Wildflowers is by far Tom's most undrated album. It is great from start to finish with great hits like you wreck me, wildflowers, honey bee and more. I highly sugest going out and buying it as soon as posible.
