Despite some bad reviews I read, I really enjoyed this movie. I was not expecting a documentary of facts and just a good, creepy story. I like horror movies without gore. This is not a factual account of anything. The movie is inspired by the house, as it's mentioned at the beginning but it's not about actual events, make sense? It is a pretty good story, more creepy than scary although it has its jumpin' moments. Big fan of Helen Mirren and this is one of her great performances.

I bought this on sale and unfortunately this movie was not great or even good.

I enjoyed this movie. It set up a back story by developing it in the beginning. There were some spooky elements to it. I think it was even more haunting that it was based on a true story. It was very interesting. It even had some twists at the end- one that was somewhat expected, but one I didn’t catch in time.

Wish it was scarier! See it if you’re a fan of Helen Mirren.

Inspired by a true story the Winchesters seven story house with hundreds of rooms is under construction for decades. Sarah Winchester isn't building the house for herself she is building it as an asylum for hundreds of vengeful ghosts. You must see this house to believe it exits. Located in San Francisco I plan to visit it someday This is a great movie
