    Qaulitu product poor service for installation

    Scheduled installation and did not show as scheduled. Rescheduled a second time however received message from Best Buy approved contractor day prior they were not available due to staff calling off and would reschedule for Monday. Called Best Buy today and now told earliest is Thursday. DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING INSTALLATION.

    Geek squad didn't show.

    Geek squad never installed my cameras or connected them. A different company was sent out,could not put them where I wanted them. Used old camera wires, and could not get them hooked up. After 3 appointments my son got them to work. I paid $1,000.00 for installation, didn't get serv8ce promised.

    Tech USA installed our cameras in NYC. They were very thorough and conscientious. They gave us excellent suggestions that helped with the install. We were very fortunate and lucky to have Tech USA work on our home.

    Best Buy no longer a reliable company

    The only reason I gave 1 star, only option available...should be negative stars. No one showed up. No one called. I received automated message the night before, reminding of the appointment! Previously, I was a major Best Buy fan, after the entire experience with this situation, I will probably not buy another thing from this company. Order # is 62408903

    Tech and cutomer service

    I would not recommend this store in Lakewood. They send me a 3rd party tech instead of a geek squad to install my security camera. The tech ended up leaving beacuse he cannot perform the installation. Had to go back 3 times at the store to get my refund. Very poor and unprofessional customer service.

    Technicians arrived at residence and were reluctant to perform the service purchased. They subsequently advised the job could not be completed. Two weeks later, I contacted another contractor and the job was completed with minimal difficulty. The job performed was a 4 camera security system install.

    The installers had no idea how complicated the installation would be no clue it was 2 story. They really didn’t have the correct tools and damage their equipment the installation took 12 1/2 hours and left my home at 1:30 am in the morning. The system is just sitting on the floor of my attic, but it is working that’s the only good I can say. Now I left to figure out how or even if I can put the unit in an area which you can check one of the eight cameras without having to go to the attic I guess that no I’m not satisfied with my 2000.00 plus purchase.

    Horrible experience the first install tech told me that I need 100' cables. So the cameras were not installed to my satisfaction. I went out and bought the 100' cables then I had the worst time trying to schedule the re-do. Finally the re-do was scheduled and the morning of the re-do I get a phone call at approximately 7am and the tech was telling me that he could not come out to do the install because he wouldn't be paid for the job. He stated that the first tech should come back out at this point he said he would give me a call back he had to call his boss and check on it. He then calls me back and said he would be here soon. When he got here he continued to state his unwillingness to do the install. He walked around the house and then said that he would do it but he will not be compensated for the job. His work shows how dissatisfied he was to do the install because now I have wires just dangling and the new wires were not tucked properly. I could write for days about the poor customer service and the unprofessionalism of the tech but I think you get the point.

    It took a few times for the cameras to work consistently, which was tied to the product itself. The friendliness and "can do" attitude of Geek Squad is quite good. Glad they found a solution.

    After several hick-up with getting recommendation on installation of a security system, Brad & Juan came to the rescue! We were very disappointed to find out wireless home security system recommended by Geek Sq contractor would not work. Brad & Juan Geek Squad made sure to take care of us and install the system quickly. We will request Brad & Juan for any future installs. They were very professional, friendly and we felt very at ease with them. Each made sure we were satisfied with the work and answered all questions. Very refreshing.

    ALTHOUGH IT TOOK MONTHS FOR THE CAMRAS TO BE INSULED, I AM PLEASED TO SAY I GOT THE CAMRAS INSTULED AND LOVE THEM. THE GUYS THAT INSTULLED THE CAMRAS I LOVE EVEN MORE THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WHER DOING. THEY DID NOT LEAVE A MESS AND DID NOT DAMAGE ANYTHING. THEY WORKED FAST AND CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSEVES. THANK YOU.

    They couldn’t run cable in crawl space, couldn’t snake wires/cables in walls. In short they did not do thenjnstall. The only good thing about this was they DID refund my money since they did absolutely nothing at my home to install the cameras I bought. I had to find an outside installer, which I was eventually able to do.

    First off, when I asked the installer to hide the wires he gave me a hard time about drilling into the building. then after about 45 minutes of not backing down he finally installed the cameras while hiding the wires. The installer didn't have proper equipment to get the job done. No ladders what so ever and he had to use mine. After the cameras were installed, there was no clean up, and no covering of the holes that were drilled. I had to fill the holes myself. I am not pleased, and will never have geek squad contract out another install for anything ever again.

    The young man that came out when a camera died, this was not what he does. He installs home entertainment units. He did a search on his phone and was able to help. If u are talking about the young men that ran the wires and set it up a 10

    The man missed two appointments I set up, showed up several hours late complaining how he had to drive from Dallas. He left cigarette buds all over my yard. He said if I got other things such as surround sound or tvs he’d set up outside of this. He took my audio cord.

    My concerns were resolved once a supervisor come out to address my concerns. I did have major timing issues, though with late arrivals and a late notice cancellation. This is a problem, because each time I had to take off work to be here for the technicians.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. First off where do I start! This has been a complete joke from the start! 3 appointments later and still the cameras are still in the box! First appointment was canceled for the rain, which I can understand that one. We scheduled another appointment and staid home waiting, I finally reached out to see the status. They tell me oh it was canceled? Wait what? They never reached out to me as to why they canceled my appointment. So there again made another appointment. My appointment was from 7am-1pm. It was 3:45 before someone showed up. Only to tell me I can only install 1 camera! Are you kidding me! I need to reach out to Best Buy to see what they recommend to install the other cameras since He claims i don’t have attic access. Did not even look at the attic to see what can be done just looked around the yard and that’s it! I’m so furious I have wasted my day and time with trying to get cameras around my house installed!

    Not adequate for built houses! No capablilities!

    If you want a wired camera system installed for a house that is already built, be prepared to be let down. I had a wired camera system for a while and have had no luck getting anyone (not just Best Buy installers) to install it the way I wanted them to (without having all of the wires strung all around your house, which not only looks bad, but also requires a ridiculous amount of cabling than what's feasible. This scheduled install was a complete waste of time away from work because the installer couldn't even do this job with my house already being completely built and there being no easy way to feed the wires in reasonable areas within my house.
