The film has appropriately hammy acting, but the practical effects hold up all these years later, even if the CGI looks a little dated now.

I had the standard DVD that I bought ages ago so this was an upgrade. The film looks great and as a bonus you get the rest of the films.

Never saw the 3 sequels before. So when I found this 4 film set I had to get it. Looking forward to watching them all.
