The electrical contact points are spring loaded. After one use one of the contact points would no longer extend to make contact with the fitbit contact points.

This does the job well as promised. It is ridiculous to have to pay this price for a second charge because FitBit won't make a standard USB mini charging port on their products.

Cord is NOT 3 Foot Long
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product because the charger that came with my fitbit broke and I wanted a longer cable to replace it, but when it arrived it was NOT 3 feet long as advertised - it is the same length as the charger that come with the product. Since I needed a charger and it was inexpensive, I decided to keep it but I want to warn others who are wanting a longer cable to purchase something else.
