It's somewhat awkward to have to pull out the app, and it doesn't work if you have flipped the wall switch off. I recommend picking up a remote to go along with your bulbs so you can use that in lieu of the wall switch, along with the app.

The only drawback is that the last setting is not stored so to function the way I want it, the switch stays on and I control the light from my phone.
