    Awesome Sekiro-like

"Sekiro for the masses" Fun entry into the so called "souls-like" genre. Unlike Nioh, this borrows heavily from Sekiro in its combat mechanics. Very fast paced, and deflecting (parrying) is a requirement here. This game's claim to fame is going to be its approachability. The difficulty is actually quite mild, specially in contrast to a game like Sekiro. But still highly rewarding. One reason for this is while the need to deflect sounds tough on paper, the reality is the timing windows are pretty forgiving, and you can deflect all forms of attacks - magic, AOE, weapons. As far as a few negative things goes.. way too much loot. You eventually become numb to finding new weapons and armor, and stop even looking at them. Levels become a bit repetitive in their design, and there are too many of them. They could have lowered the amount of levels in favor of increasing quality. Overall very fun game. PSA: Don't give up due to the first boss. The first boss is meant to be a 'tough love' introduction to the deflect system. The game's way of saying, we're not letting you play further until you prove to us that you've learned this system. No boss is as tough until maybe very end of game.

By far one of the worst games ever. Can’t really do much until you beat the first boss, which is hard.

I really enjoyed Nioh 1 and 2. This is like playing a bad version of those games. Save your money.

    Team Ninja’s version of Sekiro

If you like Sekiro and Nioh this is a must buy. Unlike Nioh games—this is very deflection based — like Sekiro, timing/precision and quick reflexes is key. If you do not enjoy deflecting you will not like this game. Does a lot of things that Sekiro doesn’t in a good way and is more accessible at times than Sekiro. There is coop and invasions, you can fast travel and access builds quickly—very easy to pickup anytime and play. What I don’t like is that there are performance issues on PC, issues with the invasions, the depth and length of the levels seems light with not much enemy variety compared to the Nioh games especially Nioh 2. I would have liked it better if Team Ninja kept some of the combo/stance mechanics like in Nioh but added deflecting.

To me this game felt like a mix between Ninja Gaiden and Nioh, and that is good. Faster paced and not as punishing as Nioh, but still hard. Combat was smooth, responsive. Story I got lost in, I was on board with the core story, but the political side I got bored with. Could have been told better.

Service for pickup was perfect. The game itself was fun for a while but it stagnated after 15 hours. Deflect and managing spirit meter made it pretty fun
