Customers are satisfied with the engaging gameplay of Wolfenstein: Youngblood, citing its fun and immersive experience. However, some found the difficulty level uneven and challenging, particularly citing enemy resilience. Concerns were also raised regarding the game's narrative, with some feeling it fell short of previous installments in the series. Despite these criticisms, many still enjoyed the core shooting mechanics and action.

I can only really recommend this game if you find it on sale. Also, get it for a different platform. It does not perform well at all on Switch and looks pretty ugly. The lighting will sometimes blind you. Only buy the deluxe edition for the ability to invite a friend to play it for free. They do not need the game to play it with you! Just make sure they download and start up the Trial version, then you are good to go. Also, the is no cartridge here, just a download voucher in box.

While I can kind of understand why some fans of the series might not like the slight change in direction this game is taking, I personally like it and am glad to see it happen. This game is a blast. Great for times when you want to blast away at enemies and it provides a decent challenge.
The graphics are surprisingly good for the Switch after the first update and motion aiming is a must for any console shooter so if you want this game on a console, the Switch version is the best. This game was ported by Panic Button so you know it's a great port.
For those complaining about some enemies being bullet sponges, try using a different weapon. Different enemy types have weaknesses with certain weapons. If that fails then run away (and come back when you are more powerful and have better weapons).

Good Game with a few Hiccups

First, it's amazing that this game is running on Switch. It's an excellent port done by Panic Button. Second, there are a few caveats attached to the Switch version, including its 30 FPS target, which occasionally sees framerates dip well below that creating a jarring effect, as well as pretty low resolution textures which give the game a much softer edge and bit of blur on Nintendo's console. Yet, the ability to play anywhere is still why this is a very worthwhile port, and despite the hiccups mentioned, it sticks very closely to the 30 FPS for almost all the action and even features motion assisted aiming. Meanwhile, the ability to revive your partner online or off makes some of the brutally challenging moments much more forgivable and less frustrating.

This game has some fun gameplay but...

Not as fun as the original in my opinion, plus the controls are not the best, even after adjusting for joy stick sensitivity and even on the easier level some of the enemies are very difficult to kill.

Having wolfenstein on the go is fun. I love playing fps games, this one is a joy to play, story is not the best but the gameplay still fun.

It’s not a sequel but SUPER FUN CO-OP

The one thing I wish I could more of in first player games is by playing co-op in the mission with a friend. Not only can you do that here but with the Switch it’s even easier to do together in the same room. Graphics are great, action sound, it’s all good.

Decent follow up in the Wolfenstein franchise. Doesn't live up to the lofty earlier ones in the series but who doesn't have fun blasting and shooting

Not a bad co op switch game. It's a looter shooter and less narrative driven than the other wolfenstein games, but it's still very fun.

Game is fun for being one of the few switch first person shooting games. Comes with a buddy pass that doesn’t seem to work (at no extra cost now compared to the non special edition), but no second player Is required to play through the storyline (just internet connection to Bethesda’s servers)
