Based on Mr. Rogers. This documentary takes me back into the modern classics.

As most people know, Won’t You Be My Neighbor is a documentary about Fred Rogers and his popular tv show Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. This has been a very popular movie when it came out and it has been releasing wider. Point’s theater got it so we had to go see it. This is by far my favorite documentary I have ever seen. The story was amazing and there were no boring moments. The people they interviewed were very good. I really liked the interviews because some questions were for the audience too. There was one interview they kept showing with Fred at a piano and incorporating different chord to life and I loved it! They also made some animations with it and they were cute and I really liked those. As all documentaries do, they talked about stuff most people didn’t know. They also showed the most important episodes and how kids need to know about current topics, like assassination. I liked how it was aimed for both children and adults. Most documentaries are aimed for adults because they know more, but it includes children too. It was for everyone, just like his show. The score in it was also very good and didn’t sound typical for a documentary. Overall this was an amazing movie that everyone needs to see. My Grade: A+

Wow. What a film. I think many people will relate to having been disappointed by celebrities when private info gets revealed about them. My opinion of Fred Rogers was high and went thru the stratosphere watching this doc. He had issues but the way he channeled himself towards the betterment of children is inspirational.

I am was not a child when Mr. Rogers was on PBS but I did catch a few of his shows as an adult. I didn't know much about him until I had seen this documentary on PBS and I cried through the whole thing. What a sweet and caring man. I was so pleased to find Best Buy had this DVD and to be able to watch it again.

a neat look into the life and legacy of Mr Fred Rogers. This will bring a tear to even the hardest of hearts. A movie to enjoy with the whole family.

This was great, we really enjoyed watching the story of someone was otherwise a hero when I was only 4 years old.

If you liked Mr. ROGERS as a child, you need to watch this documentary. Very heart warming.

Inspired amazing documentary loved it recommend it

This is required viewing for all humans. No joke. A documentary about a past that is so scarily present because in part, we all act like monsters that either have been taught to do this or are reacting like unparented children that should really just learn to love one another genuinely. Bringing my 14 and 9 year olds (whom are way less polluted by the world than adults are by our religions and politics) was a perfect barometer to judge an unbiased reaction to being a better person. They really reacted positively with the laughing and crying throughout that everyone did. The unfortunate thing is Best Buy don’t seem to want to stock this Blu-Ray and can only be ordered online probably due to the PG13 rating. It’s not quite a kids movie.

I love the documentary on Mr Fred Rogers Won’t you be my neighbor! I missed seeing this in theaters last year! I learned a lot about Mr Rogers that I didn’t know before! He was an important part of my childhood ! Simple times great memories! When imagination was magic! Life before computers & cell phones were Magic!

Get your tissues ready for this one. A great behind the scenes of the making of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. The classic kids tv show. Really great insight into Fred Rogers and his life. He was the man we saw on TV, as genuine as they come. This is a must see for DOC lovers out there.

Really enjoyed this movie even better than the Tom Hanks movie where he portrays Mr. Rogers. This was real life movie scenes with people who knew him and shared past experiences about him! great movie to watch!

Won't You Be My Neighbor is one the most interesting, incredible, and informative documentaries ever and by the end I was crying because of the story of the man who was Mister Rogers.
