My favorite thing about this uplifting and inspirational story is it is based on a true story. Loved everything about it. Good acting. Will watch it over and over again.

We can watch this movie over and over and not get tired of it! We will be buying more to give out to friends and family!

This movie is a very inspirational movie. Enjoyed everything about this movie.

Had a very good story of course it was a true story but how some kids and adults alike handled when the schools first desegregated. How the main character (Tony) was so strong to be the first blacks at that school and was put in a situation to withstand all the hateful things that were said. How his coach who was not a Christian encouraged the football team to get along. How Tony influenced his coaches respect and the coach came to Tony's church and was saved and took that and made his team strong and together black and white made it a great team. Tony went off the play football for Alabama, which was unheard of for a black to go play football at Alabama (yuck. Would have been better if it was LSU) but that wasn't the story. Anyway great book with lessons to be learned by our nation today. Everyone can get along and love everyone because that is always Gods intention and when you do God will honor His promise that good things will come to those who do.

This movie is so good. In a world where hatred takes many forms, where simply being a Republican can get you ostracized in college, and where simply being a Democrat can make you your families no. 1 enemy, this movie helps deliver a message that the world needs to hear. Jesus Christ died for you, and if you believe in him and follow him, he can and will help you on this crazy, unfair road called life. Rise above the hatred, bitterness, and selfish ambitions that rule the major part of our lives. There is only one way to combat them and rise above. Woodlawn shows us how.

Woodlawn bridges the gap between race, religion, academics and athletics. It cuts to the chase about what is important in life and how no one will escape making the decision whether or not to follow Jesus Christ. It is a true story about the moment in life we either have found ourselves in or will find ourselves in very soon. I highly recommend this film to everyone and applaud the people that made the film. Bravo!

We watched Woodlawn and saw the dramatic transition from bigotry of a school and subsequent schools and city. The movie explains how a sports chaplain led an entire team of football players to Christ. Their witness then transformed another team. This was happening nationwide with college students coming to God and then including drug addicts, etc. whose lives were changed for the better.

My expectations were low seeing as most Christan movies are not on par with Hollywood in terms of quality, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a football movie with Christianity sprinkled here and there, same stuff you see in every movie, but this was a Christian movie about football, that did not go over the top to beat you over the head with its message. Must own!

I lived in Birmingham and attended Phillips High school. In the past, when these 2 met for football, the game was bigger than AU vs AL. The movie reflects many of the problems of the time when integration was made the law.It also shows how one school and students reacted to the changes and tried to improve things through Jesus. Great family movie.

What an Awesome Christian movie that had a strong message for me and all who watch. I have recommended this movie to all of my friends. Brought tears to my eyes and a great family movie that is powerful. I just read the book and I was in "Aw".

At a time of desegregation, with tensions high, the thing that brings these students and coaches together is faith. Based on a true story, It is very uplifting. Faith transcends color and brings these people together to show what we could be.

I bought this movie for its Christian theme and was not disappointed. It was even better knowing that it was based on a true story. My whole family watched it together and had a great time. It was a good way to get some family time together

It's a faith based movie of the power God can bring to a hurting football team and a community in the early 70's. This movie isn't the usual faith based fell good movie for the most part. It is life, then and now. Definitely worth a look.

This is a older movie that we have not seen and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

This is a great movie, taking you through a difficult time in society and showing how one person can make a difference. Absolutely inspirational how an entire town pulls together and stands up for what's right and good.

This is a great, inspiring movie for the entire family. It is a real-life story of how love can heal and overcome racial tensions. I like we can watch it on the blue ray, in the car dvd player, and in iTunes.

We saw the previews to this movie and immediately knew we had to see it. Not only was it based on a true story but showed us the example of forgiveness and love which is the biblical truths of the bible.

With a story anchored in the racial storm of Alabama in the during desegregation, a high school football team in the midst of the struggle finds peace and victory when they put their Faith in Christ.

This is a very well written movie and really does get the point across to its viewers!! I loved watching it and I will be watching it again. Highly recommend adding this to your collection.
