Customers find value in the gameplay, large roster of wrestlers, and improved career mode of WWE 2K16. Many appreciate the inclusion of wrestlers from different eras and the ease of learning the game. However, some users find the control scheme and submission system challenging, and a few have noted difficulty with certain moves and AI opponents. The overall experience is largely positive, but improvements could be made to address these specific concerns.

A Huge improvment from WWE2K15

This game definity made up for the bland 2K15 which was just a repeat from 14. 2K16 has improved the game play and graphics along with a huge roster and multiple match options. A must own with Stone Cold story mode.

This is what last years next gen game should have been with all of the options and the excellent graphics. But the problem is the same annoying and frustrating mini games and countering system are back where its hit or miss. Everything seems to be a struggle from applying a basic headlock to going for the win via pinfall or submission. Its easy to get caught in something and get beat quickly and easily but incredibly difficult to get an easy victory over an opponent. Every match is an overly competitive back and forth, knock down, drag out fight regardless of who its against or who you are using. I like a competitive match as much as anyone, but could you really picture Santino Marella or Zach Ryder kicking out of not one but two F5s?

Great roster and an awesome wrestling simulator. However the little mini game that is required just to get out of a submission hold is dreadful. Still trying to perfect it.

2K15 was a bit of a disappointment, feeling like more of the same. 2K16 has one of the biggest roster, and every aspect of the game has been improved. This is a no-brainer purchase if you like wrestling games.

This game improves on everything in last year's game. The mechanics are better and the roster is much bigger. WWE2K16 requires much more strategy since reversals are now limited. This game is awesome!

WWE 2k16 Returns WWE Games to Greatness

This is honestly the best wrestling game that I have played since No Mercy or WrestleMania 2000 on the N64. The move towards simulation is a welcome one for this player. I have always wanted to play matches that play out like real life. I have always wanted to be able to lose to the AI. In this game, I can lose on normal without any issue, while before I was able to handily beat the AI on any difficulty. The limited reversals, pin system, stamina meter, and more all combine to give the matches a very intense feel. You can lose at any time and the tide can turn very quickly.
Overall, amazing. I do have some minor gripes about WWE universe mode not having enough options, but ah well.

WWE 2k16 is a vast improvement over 2k15 although it is still not quite perfect. Huge roster and overall pretty good pacing for matches. There is a certain strategy to the matches now and isn't about button mashing or endless reversals now. The only negative I have thus far is the submission system. It is confusing and at times way too easy for the CPU to submit you even if you haven't taken too much damage. If I can just get used to it then I will give this 4/5 stars.

This is the first wrestling game I have bought in about 6 years and while it took me a while to get the controls down I still had a lot of fun with it.

Biggest roster yet of WWE superstars and best story mode in a WWE 2K game it is a must have for WWE fans no matter what the age. It is by far the best WWE game in awhile.

Great game. Large roster. This game continues to cater to the nostalgic pro wrestling fan. This game is also fun when you are laying the smackdown on John Cena. Hooray!

This game really surprised me how good it was. Fun solo or co-op. The 2k showcase is a plus for any Stone Cold fans. A great, fun game with a trip down memory lane.

Let me start off by saying I didn't know I was going to have so much fun with this game. I was pleasantly surprised. I use to be a big wrestling fan when I was a kid. Kind of grown out of it since then. But when I saw commercials for this game, it brought back all the childhood memories.
I really thought it was going to be just a button mashing game like they use to be. But these wresting games really have evolved. Everything from the regular matches to My Career mode, 2k Showcase, WWE Universe, Creations, and Online Mode. It's really a tremulous game with hours upon hours of entertainment.

2k have found a way to make a wrestling game that is balanced and fun. Most US based wrestling games end up feeling like poor fighting games, wwe 2k16 utilises a new reversal system to add pacing and drama that mimics your average wrestling match. I'm very impressed with the direction 2k has taken this game. My only disappointment is, even with the expansive roster they have forgotten a few key stars (Sasha Banks and Bayley), and with the lack of any music importing on next gen, makes all the CAWs feel second rate. Besides these omissions this is a top notch game.

This is by far the deepest lineup yet that WWE has offered. It takes a little getting used to, but once you do, you will play for hours without end.

Before buying this game, i was mostly excited for the huge roster it featured. Little did i know that this game would make me feel like an infidel. I have played the entire franchise way back in the pa1 era. The submission system totally SUCKS!!!! it is nearly impossible to make your opponent submit with this new submission system this game has. Which is why i only give it 3 stars.

The new installment of the WWE series is good. A huge roster of Superstars and Divas to choose from (Past and Present). The gameplay is great.
