This is a very good game. The graphics are good. But it needs more superstars in the beginning of the game. Why must we purchase a season pass card to increase the number of superstars?

WWE 2K19 is good (but not quite great)

This years iteration of 2K's long-running wrestling series is a solid game, with great graphics and some nifty features. The gameplay is very similar to previous games, so don't expect massive changes here. The striking/grappling/reversal system does a decent job in simulating a wrestling match, though I'll always miss the system present in the old THQ/Aki WCW and WWF games. The MyCareer mode is great, with some nice WWE-style presentation and storylines. The Towers mode, ala Mortal Kombat, presents some interesting challenges and strange (seemingly out of place) modifiers. Showcase mode is back, and it is better than ever. The decision to feature Daniel Bryan here was the right one, and it feels amazing to relive seminal moments in the career of the leader of the Yes! movement.
There are a bunch of small fixes that make certain gameplay options more enjoyable. The developer reworked the mechanics of Steel Cage matches, with a new escaping the cage mini-game. Royal Rumble matches allow the user to set the entire order of entrance of the Superstars, which means that you can re-create some of the great Rumbles of yesteryear. The commentary remains laughably bad, leaving little hope that 2K will ever get it right here. The Create-A-Superstar suite is amazing as always, allowing considerable creativity when forging your own grapplers.
Rey Mysterio and Ronda Rousey were the pre-order bonus DLC characters. These two popular characters are must own, in my opinion. There will be future DLC (as always with wrestling games), though they will be free to Deluxe-version adopters. The roster is huge, but there are some curious holes (no NXT champion Tommaso Ciampa or NXT women's superstar Nikki Cross). In short, this game is a definite, must-have for WWE fans. While one would hope for a few more gameplay tweaks, the game is solid and ends up delivering a quality WWE experience.

This had some good things, lots of players and options, decent graphics and it is a pretty fun.
However, there are some big downfalls, that the designers got very lazy on.
First, the overall controls are very poor and clunky, the wrestler is always turning the wrong way and misses running moves constantly.
Second, it is WAY to easy for the computer to reverse moves, and too hard for the player.
Third, how you get out of a submission hold is completely stupid.
Fourth, it is way too hard for the younger players to kick out of a pin.
Fifth, for younger players, it is too difficult. They should have made an easy mode that allowed for unlimited finishers and not as easy for computer to reverse as much.
Sixth, the controls for hell in a cell match are awful!
Seventh, they have very limited OMG moves, and very limited finishing moves to knock opponents out of ring in Royal Rumble. Royal Rumble mode is very boring.
Eighth, there are A TON of glitches.
Ninth, the “x” button option when behind a lying or seated player is the same for every wrestler and completely stupid.
Overall, the game is average, but had potential to be great, the developers just got lazy. They should release a game every 2 years to spend more time to get it right. Like Rockstar did with RDR2. Maybe WWE should work with Rockstar to take over the rights, could you imagine how epic these games would be then?!?
They need to go back to the drawing board using WWE 2014 for PS3 as their starting point, that was the best game in this series, and has gone downhill from then. I hear 2k20 is even worse. Dissapointing.
We bought this for my 8 year old son, and he has asked us to hook back up his PS3 so he could play 2K14 because it is more fun and easier.
If you get it for less than $20, worth some hours of entertainment, but I’d rather pay $50+, for a legit WWE game!

It's a typical wwe 2k title. The last one I played was 15 so I thought this would be a big jump from that but it's only slightly better. The graphics are OK but nothing to show off. The Daniel Bryan showcase is interesting but I wish there were more showcases. The created character story is interesting and there are lots of options for your moves, appearance, and entrance. This is a good game but they are coming out with one every year and there's little improvement each time.

WWE 2K19 is the best WWE game in the last few years. Showcase mode returns with Daniel Bryan and the new Towers mode, while sometimes quite challenging, is a lot of fun. Big Head mode is also a fun new addition. Commentary is pretty terrible but the fun gameplay makes you forget how bad it is. Even if you're not a fan of WWE, this game can be a lot of fun with all the customization of characters, events, etc. available.

This game looks great and the gameplay is good as well. It features a lot of superstars, old and new (the back of the game case says over 200). It has a career mode and a showcase mode which follows Daniel Bryan's WWE career. 1-4 players local and 2-6 players online.

My family has always been a fan of wrestling in addition to other actual sports (read: football). But its always been way more lax and just more about entertainment than anything you take serious. WWE2K19 brings new characters to the line up, returns old modes, and improved existing modes (rumble). Its fun imagining executing some of these moves IRL as a kid. The real audience in my family for this game is my niece - and she loves the character creation/progression. If you're up for some silly good (daresay nostalgic) fun, then this is a solid buy.

More immersed and fun than the last installment. 2K18 was garbage compared to 2K19. The controls are not different from each other, but the steel cage match doesn't frustrate me in this version. The story line is top notch.
What is lacking is current superstars like Bobby Lashley and Ronda Rousey, but you can purchase them with the packs they're selling in their store.
I'm still having fun with it. It does need to fix some few glitches but overall, it's pretty cool. I bought this for twenty bucks!
