TL;DR: Good (if dated roster-wise) wrestling game that far outshines the previous outing, though experience marred down by a 24-hour wait for my code. Just buy a Steam card instead.
The game itself is good. Not great but far superior to the dumpster fire that was WWE 2k20. The new combat system takes some getting used to but a (skippable) tutorial at the beginning does a good job introducing the new gameplay mechanics. Good selection of superstars to play as, but the extended development time means that a good chunk of them have since been released by the company months ago. A few current superstars are absent while others should be in the game but aren't due to licensing (Bray Wyatt in all forms is MIA due to his owning The Fiend character outright).
Though the game itself is fine, the service on BestBuy's side is TERRIBLE. Took 24 hours for my code to arrive which is appalling, especially since I purchased this on Friday and the game was already released. Since this is just a Steam code you could easily circumvent this by purchasing a Steam gift card directly instead of having to deal with the extended wait time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The grapics are amazing, dont like how they changed the controller options from 2k20. It a few legends I would like to see added like all stages of Kane and Mick Foley. Overall 4/5
