WWE has done it again! They decided to go into the archives vault, and give us a look at one of the most historic, brutal and violent matches in history: War Games!!! Going back to late 1987 or early 1988, these matches involved some of the most legendary competitors in the business, including Dusty Rhodes, Dr. Death Steve Williams, Sting, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, etc. An exceptional dvd set, and one that is a must-have for any collector!!!

Great classic matches from one of WCW's greatest events. This collection is a must have for any true WCW fan. Dusty Rhodes does a great job giving background on every match.

So I was really looking forward to this being released, since I absolutely loved watching these matches when I was growing up. Needless to say I was not disappointed and I love this blu.

I watched these some of these matches years ago..... now I have every one of them and every one of them are GREAT! Now I can show my friends the matches I've told them about. I hope they make dvds of all the old matches.

If you were a fan of WCW this match is for you. Have every War Games match on it. The only down side is the action can be a little difficult to follow with the different camera angles and 2 rings.

It's a great compilation of my favorite type of match! When I was a child I always looked forward to the war games and this release did not disappoint.

The War Games was a revolutionary concept for its time. The best matches were the earlier ones, but there's good entertainment throughout.

All wrestling fans should own this dvd set! The War Games is the ultimate match in pro wrestling, the history behind the match, the participants and the commentary from Dusty Rhodes is great!

good selection of matches and footage but could have used more extras and interview clips from other superstars. splurge for the blu-ray if you have the capability to play it.

cool to see wwe superstars from different eras of professional wrestling,such as the golden age(Hogan,savage,flair,etc),attitude era(nash,hall,and waltman)
