    Powerful, efficient blender/processor combo

We just got the Ninja UltraCrush Professional Kitchen system and put it to work immediately. Since my wife is the chef in our family and has just about every kitchen device known to man I asked her for her thoughts and feedback, here’s what she said: Blender Performance: This blender is very powerful. It’s a bit loud, but no more than most blenders. In fact, it outperforms our previous high-end, expensive model when it comes to crushing and blending consistency. A standout feature is the removable blade assembly, which makes cleaning much safer and easier compared to fixed-blade designs where it’s difficult to avoid cutting yourself. The multi-layer blade system (double for the processor, triple for the blender) is also much more efficient than traditional bottom-only blades since it processes ingredients evenly without needing to constantly push food down. One thing I do miss is a glass container, mainly for dishwasher convenience. This one isn’t really dishwasher-friendly unless you have a very tall top rack. That said, cleanup is still easy, just add some warm soapy water and run a quick blend cycle. I haven’t tested it yet with something like peanut sauce which tends to be one of the hardest things to clean, but that will be a good long-term test. Food Processor: The food processor performs exceptionally well and actually outshines my current high-end model. When processing lobster for ravioli, it only took six pulses to achieve the perfect texture. For a walnut and ricotta pasta sauce, the walnuts were finely chopped in just five pulses, very fast and efficient. The sloped bowl design makes it easy to remove processed food without scraping and digging. Pro tip: While the bowl is technically dishwasher-safe (the instructions say to use the top dishwasher rack ONLY which doesn’t work for us) frequent dishwasher use can dull blades over time. A better method is to fill it halfway with soapy water and run it briefly. Unlike other food processors which tend to leak, this one is fully leak-proof so you can clean it this way without worrying about a mess. That’s a huge advantage. Smoothies: I made frozen mango margaritas using whole ice cubes rather than crushed ice and the blender handled them effortlessly. It crushed everything within seconds and didn’t leave behind any large chunks like other blenders often do. The result was perfectly smooth. The included 18-ounce single-serve cup is also a great bonus. Drawbacks: The only real limitation is that it can’t completely replace my existing food processor since it doesn’t include a shredding attachment for things like cheese. It’s also fairly large and heavy. The suction cups on the base provide excellent stability during use, but they also make it a bit harder to move around, you’ll need a little effort to lift it. That said, since it replaces both a blender and a food processor (and a smoothie maker if you have one), it ultimately saves counter and storage space. Overall, this is a powerful, efficient all-in-one blender and food processor that outperforms even high-end models in blending and processing speed. It excels at crushing ice, making sauces, and handling tough ingredients with ease. Cleanup is simple thanks to removable blades and a leak-proof design. While it’s large, heavy, and lacks a shredding attachment, it effectively replaces several of my kitchen devices making it a great space-saving upgrade.

This is my second blender kitchen system from Ninja. This multi-purpose appliance comes with a full-size 72 oz pitcher, a food processing bowl, and a single-serve 18 oz blender cup with drink lid. All of these containers are made of heavy-duty plastic that feels thick and durable. Each one fits the 1500 Watt motor base and are secured using a twist-to-lock mechanism. The base has 4 main modes: low, medium, high, and max as well as a push-to-activate pulse button. Main modes run for a maximum of 60 seconds before stopping automatically to prevent motor burnout, though can be stopped manually at any time by pressing the power or running mode button a second time. The suction cups under the base are quite strong and keep the base firmly planted on my stone countertop while the machine is operating, but are easy enough to un-stick by breaking the seal with your fingernail. The personal blender cup is short and squat, and the blade assembly is a twist-off cap threaded on the interior of the cup’s rim. While it can hold up to 18 oz if you fill it to bottom of the threads, the max amount of ingredients you can add for blending is 16 oz. It’s a good size for making a single-serve smoothie, a bowl of fresh salsa, or crushing ingredients for recipes like pesto. When the blades are installed, it is leak-proof and airtight, for this reason you should not put hot food or carbonated liquid in it as this can cause dangerous excess pressure to build-up inside. You’ll also want to avoid blending very hard, dry ingredients like grains and spices without adding liquid. With this vessel, the Max mode is an automatic program that pulses the blades in short bursts with increasing power over the course of 30 seconds. During operation, the motor is quite loud and the gear assembly that turns the blades on mine squeaks a bit, so expect it to make a bunch of noise. Included is a leak-proof, flip-top drink lid for the cup, so you can drink from it or pour out its contents mess-free. I like that this lid has a rubber grip all around to assist with twisting it on and off. The cover over the spout folds flat into a recess and stays out of the way when you drink or pour. When you’re finished blending, you'll need to remove the blades and store with the drink cap to prevent the cup from building up pressure or creating a vacuum as ingredients off-gas or cool. The large 72 oz pitcher is great for blending a large amount of ingredients completely smooth like frozen drinks and smoothies. This max capacity is when the pitcher is filled just below the lid, but the max limit for ingredients is 64 oz. It is marked with half-cup increments from 1 to 8 cups and 100 mL from 200 to 1900. For this vessel, the Max mode is a 1-minute automated program that starts off with several pulses to pre-grind ingredients before switching to a constant high powered blend for super smooth results. It was the perfect tool for breaking down cooked and cooled pumpkin to puree the stringy flesh so I could use it in soup and as pie filling. It also is powerful enough to grind ice cubes into fine, snowy powder that you can use in drinks and shakes. The 6-blade spindle for the pitcher is removable, though must be installed prior to placing food in the container so that it can seat correctly. The lid is secured by folding the handle down flat until it clicks. Once locked in, you must press the release button on top to pop up and unfold the handle to remove it. The lid also has a flip top pour spout that is leak-free when closed. If your final product is thin enough to pour, you can simply pop open the lid over the pour spout. If you remove the lid prior to pouring out its contents, you’ll need to take the blades out first, otherwise they will fall out when you pour. The 64 oz food processor bowl for this machine also has locking lid, but does not have a pour spout or feed chute; nor does it come with a disc blade for shredding and slicing, so you’ll be limited to chopping, dicing, and mincing foods. There is, however, a small door on top covering a 3/8” inch diameter fill hole. This opening is slightly funneled so you can drizzle in liquids while blending to thin or emulsify your mix. Take care to add only a thin stream of liquid if the blender is running, as air will also escape this hole and filling too fast may cause the liquid to bubble up and splatter. I found it a bit cleaner to pause blending prior to adding the liquid through the port, then close the door before continuing to blend. This functionality allowed me to thin my homemade hummus to the consistency I like without having to remove the lid to add water. Because all the blades are very sharp, be cautious when when scraping off stuck on ingredients and washing to avoid injury. The handles on the lids for the pitcher and food processing bowl can only fold flat when attached to their respective vessels, so they should be installed with the blade assemblies prior to storage. Overall, the Ninja Ultracrush Professional Kitchen System meets the needs of a full-size blender, chopping food processor, and single-serve personal blender with just one small appliance, taking up less space on my counter and even fits under my kitchen cabinets with the tall pitcher installed. It has a powerful motor that can crush and blend down ingredients like ice and vegetables smoothly and quickly. All removable parts are easy to clean as they are top-rack dishwasher safe, and oftentimes, simply running the blender with a bit of warm soapy water inside is enough to get everything mostly clean without scrubbing.

I was really looking forward to getting this Ninja UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System. I have one from another brand and I constantly was running into issues like not fully blending. With this blender, there are so many options to get your smoothies done, veggies cut, etc. My teenage kids literally took this Ninja from me and make their healthy smoothies on a daily basis. If I were to summarize what this Ninja does, I would say this: it was engineered for those seeking a blend of high-performance power, multi-functional versatility, and everyday ease. This Ninja UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System (Model BP401) features a robust 1500‑watt motor (pretty powerful in my book and for my kitchen). This cool and at the same time comprehensive appliance is designed to master a variety of my kitchen tasks, effortlessly preparing everything from chilled beverages and fruit smoothies to fresh salsas. I would like to outline its primary features for you as a prospective buyer. If you are reading this review, you must be researching and are interested in getting something that deserves a spot on your kitchen counter. This Ninja is powerful, it features 1500W / 2 HP Motor. With such power it provides professional‑grade strength for consistent, smooth results in my every day use. After running it a number of times it quickly transforms ice into snow for smoothies and frozen treats. It comes with a 72‑oz Total Crushing Pitcher and utilizes Ninja's specialized Total Crushing Technology to pulverize ice rapidly. I find it ideal for preparing meal prep, large smoothie batches (for those teen birthdays), or frozen drinks. I love their 18‑oz Single‑Serve Cup! Instead of using the Pitcher, this single cup offers grab‑and‑go ease by allowing you to blend right in the cup. It even comes with a nice lid, so you can simply grab your smoothie and jump in your car. Very convenient! You also get an 8‑Cup Food Processor Bowl. It is equipped with a quad chopping blade to ensure uniform processing. I use it for mixing, pureeing, chopping, and creating dips or sauces and salsas. I like how easy it is to swap out and the clean up is super simple (just watch out for those sharp blades!). The build quality of the pitcher, the cup and the food processor bowl is good, I was hoping Ninja would use glass instead of plastic. That is probably one thing I would suggest the company to improve on. All in all, I am very satisfied with this blender and would recommend it to anyone who wants high power without paying premium blender prices.

    Ninja UltraCrush is Ultra GREAT!

Ninja is well known for building powerful and versatile kitchen appliances. This review is about the new Ninja UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System. Ninja has a strong commitment to innovation and consumer-focused design. We've had a Ninja NutriBullet personal blender for several years and it's never disappointed, nor does it show any signs of aging. Our current full sized blender, from a reputable company, which is only two years old completely failed recently and the motor burned up. So when I had the opportunity to get this UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System, I was confident I'd be getting a really well designed, super flexible system, which will stand the test of time. What you get when you open the box is the base motor with 1500 watts of power (2 Horse Power), 72 oz XL Pitcher and Lid, Total Crushing Stacked Blade Assembly, 18 oz Single Serve Cup and Lid, Pro Extractor Blade Assembly and an 8 Cup Precision Food Processor Bowl/Lid with a Chopping Blade Assembly. WOW......there's a lot of great pieces, which is why it's appropriately called a Professional Kitchen System. There's little this system can't crush, pulse or mix with precision. You can make party sized servings of smoothies in the 72 oz Pitcher, or a single serving sized smoothie in the 18 0z Single Serve Cup. Or use the food processor, all interchangeably with the base motor, by simply placing it on the base, lock it in place and choose the right power level from Low, Medium, High or Max. As would be needed there is a pulse option when you use the food processor. It's intuitive and beyond easy to use. Having three appliances in one, is just brilliant and convenient. Thus far, we've used the Large Pitcher and Single Serve Pitcher and the powerful motor is quieter than I would have expected for the amount of power it has. And everything blended beyond smoothly. I'm sure the food processor will come in very handy as well. The thing about Ninja, is they make products that make our lives easier and they build quality products, which are long lasting. Cleanup is easy as well. But keep in mind the blade assemblies are removable to aid in cleanup and the blades are quite sharp, so extra care should be taken when cleaning a blade assembly. It's also dishwasher safe, though I'm not very inclined to use my dishwasher to clean mine. If there was one thing I'd change is the suction cup base on the base motor. Instead of 4 rubber feet, it has four suction cups. Don't get me wrong, they do their job really well and will ensure the blender can't move once placed on your counter. But taking the base motor off your counter takes some muscle and I do worry whether the suction cups will last as long as the base motor will. I guess only time will tell on that. Overall, I think for the price of admission, this Ninja UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System will be a great addition to our appliance arsenal and it will last a long time. It doesn't get much better than that.

I really love the versatility of the Ninja UltraCrush. It is a very versatile appliance that will fill multiple functions in my kitchen. It also has a powerful (2hp / 1,500w) motor that can to complete the toughest kitchen tasks quickly. I have been using this for 5 days now and I really love it and it has become the perfect addition to my kitchen counter. So far, I have used this to make my morning smoothies everyday with this and I really like how it takes less time than my old single-function smoothy maker. I especially like how it is able to crush the ice and blend all the ingredients together better giving me a more consistent texture and better visual appeal. I am hoping I can purchase a second (or third) smoothy cup for making smoothies for my whole family at the same time. I have also made my world famous Hummus using the 8-cup Food Processor bowl. It finely chopped and blended all of the ingredients beautifully. My Hummus turned out perfectly and it had a much creamier and consistent texture than I have been able to do in the past. I haven't tried the 72-ounce pitcher yet, but I am looking forward to using it this summer making summer beverages for my friends and family. I have 3 other Ninja / Shark products and am very pleased with their design and quality. They also stand by their products with a warranty and friendly customer service, who I've contacted with questions. They also offer links for helpful recipes and use and cleaning information. I really found the 4 suction cups on the bottom of the base to be very helpful. When I have used the blender it doesn't move, even at the highest setting. It is too tall with the 72-ounce pitcher to sit under my cabinets, so I have to move it out in order to use that attachment. But, I keep it on my counter with the 8-cup Food Processor attached and can quickly swap it out for the smoothy cup every morning. I like that each of the bowls are dishwasher safe, but I usually wash them by hand with the other things I have. Everything comes apart easily for cleaning or storing them away. I now have one less appliance on my countertop and can do a lot more with this professional kitchen system by Ninja. Overall, I couldn't be happier. This does all I hoped for and more. I feel the price is an excellent value and would highly recommend this for anyone. I also feel it would make a great gift for a new home owner or newlyweds.

I have been looking for a new blender for some time since my old one is really loud and sometimes has smoke coming out of it when used for long periods of time. I know I know, but it gets the job done! Lol. And being the cheapskate I am, I never wanted to replace it. BUT, I am a huge fan of Ninja products, and had an opportunity to pick this up that I could not pass up, and I’m glad I did. On the blender side, this is a powerful tool. What I love, and the food processor attachment has this too, but I love that the blade attachment is multiple levels all the way up the middle of the pitcher. Unlike old blenders, where the blades are at the bottom and things get stuck in them, this has multiple blades that constantly dice and crush at an insane speed. And while I wouldn’t say it’s whisper quiet, it’s not an obnoxiously loud blender while in use. The food processor pitcher too also has blades that run bottom to top and blends and dices anything you put in there. My wife specifically likes this attachment and says it’s better than her current food processor. Both the blender and processor have locking lids that line up to one spot only and snap down into place. Makes it so you don’t have lids that fall off and splatter everywhere. This also comes with a travel pitcher attachment with lid. It snaps perfectly onto the blender base. Haven’t tried this attachment yet but looking forward to making smoothies for work. IF i had to pick one thing I don’t like, is that the blender base has suction cups on the bottom that ya know, SUCTIONS to anything it touches. And it’s pesky because if you set this down anywhere, and either it’s not in the right spot or you want to move it temporarily, you have to struggle to unlatch the 4 suction cups. Now I have no idea if this is standard on all current blenders or if it’s specific for Ninja because of the high speeds the blender uses, but it is quite annoying and these things really stick. Overall not a deal breaker. Once it’s in place it’s fine. Especially if you keep this in one spot on your counter and don’t plan to move it much. Overall highly recommended!

NINJA ULTRACRUSH PRO ~ THE BEST!

I was in need of a high-quality blender capable of making smoothies, as my previous one failed to deliver satisfactory results. Upon receiving the Ninja Ultracrush, I was delighted to find several components included: a 1500-watt motor base, a 64-ounce total crushing pitcher accompanied by a lid and stacked blade assembly, a 64-ounce precision processor bowl with its lid and chopping blade assembly, and my personal favorite ~ a single-serve 16-ounce cup complete with a spout lid and pro extractor blade assembly. Although all parts are BPA free and dishwasher safe, I opted to wash them by hand, excluding the motor base, naturally. The package also contained a Quick Start Guide, which, while quite basic and lacking recipe ideas, proved useful for assembling the various parts and understanding appropriate speed settings. The motor base is equipped with a Power Button, continuous Low, Medium, and High speed options each running for up to 60 seconds unless stopped earlier via the active button, a MAX setting, and a Pulse option that functions only when pressed ~ offering short or long pulses depending on press duration. The unit intelligently detects the container attached, illuminating only compatible functions on the control panel. For my initial trial, I prepared a strawberry-banana smoothie using frozen fruit from a bag, filled the 16-ounce cup to my preferred level, and added almond milk to finish. Choosing the medium speed ensured a thick, creamy consistency rather than a thin one. The blender's noise was surprisingly loud at first, but I quickly adapted. Notably, the motor base includes robust suction feet that prevent it from sliding during operation, which is a very welcome feature. The outcome of my smoothie was exactly to my liking ~ truly impressive. I then tested the tall pitcher on the MAX setting to crush ice cubes, which resulted in a snow-like texture, precisely what I desired. The food processor attachment also performed admirably, chopping ingredients evenly and efficiently. Overall, this is a premium blender, food processor, and smoothie maker all in one. I plan to use it daily for my morning smoothies and occasionally for other culinary tasks. As an avid fan of Ninja products with several already in my kitchen, I am thrilled to add this model to my collection and wholeheartedly recommend its purchase. It is truly an outstanding product!

    Ninja's Ultimate Blender system

My family has been longing for a new blender and food processor combo since forever. Our current blender lacks the power needed to blend smoothies and fails as a food processor. We wanted something that could perform well at making smoothies and chopping vegetables, so we thought a Ninja product would fit our needs. After reviewing several options, we landed on the Ninja UltaCrush Professinoal Kitchen system. The biggest selling points for me were the 1500 watts of power and the multiple accessories that the Ninja UltraCrush system has. The design of the Ninja UltraCrush Professional Kitchen system is unique. The color of the blender is machine gray with four manual buttons (low, medium, high, and max). Also comes with a large 72-ounce pitcher that can make all sorts of drinks. Also comes equipped with a stacked blade assembly. Having a separate processing bowl that can chop fruits and vegetables makes this system a must buy for me. The added single serve-cup is icing on the cake. My son loves to make smoothies in the mornings, so having the ability to make one 18-ounce smoothie helps save time and money. The blades are sharp, so it is recommended to handle them with care. To clean, the manufacturer recommends purchasing a brush with a handle to clean the blades. The containers are made of hard plastic and can be easily hand washed and is dishwasher safe. The lids include arrows to help with alignment when closing and includes a release button on both lids to ensure safety. Only downside is the handles remain in the up position and can only be closed when seated in the pitcher or bowl. The Ninja Professional kitchen system is really good at both blending and serving as a food processor. As a family, we are now able to experiment with different drinks and food choices. This also allows the family to eat more healthier options, so having the UltraCrush is a huge win in my book.

Calling this a Professional Kitchen System might be exaggerating, but it is definitely more than a blender. It’s basically three devices in one: a blender, a single-serve smoothie maker, and a food processor. Each blending vessel has a single blade system (contrasting with other blenders that have multiple blades for various purposes), but each seems very well suited to do the job. Each operates at a different speed, thanks to integrated gear systems, which is something I haven’t seen in other products. Each vessel also easily and securely locks in place on the motor base, which adds a sense of safety. There are some smartly place sensors that prevent the motor from being turned on unless a vessel and lid are fully locked in place. Overall it feels like a well-considered system with features that would be a pleasure to use at home or in a commercial setting. My first complaint was during unboxing. Everything (even some cardboard inserts) was individually bagged in plastic. It seemed like Ninja must have had some extra plastic they wanted to get rid of, but I didn’t appreciate having to add all that unnecessary material to my landfill. Some of the packaging was clearly for safety purposes—to keep you from cutting yourself on the sharp blades—but this was definitely overkill. The motor base itself feels very secure on the table with little vibration when it’s operating. Suction cups on the bottom help keep it from moving around. It’s relatively quiet, which I really appreciate. The controls are easy to understand, with each button press starting a 60-second cycle for set-it-and-walk-away operation. And I always feel fine walking away from it, since everything latches and locks securely: no chance of a pitcher flying off or a top coming loose and spraying food all over the place. 18 oz Single Serve Cup: This is perfect for making a single smoothie or blending a protein shake. The blades spin extra fast, whipping a drink into creamy deliciousness. I previously had a small portable blender for this work. The Ninja gets the job done in seconds compared to my old single-serve blender which would take multiple cycles over a couple minutes to get to a smooth consistency. The first time I used it, though, I made the mistake of putting solid ingredients in first. I should have put liquid in first and solids on the bottom, since the cup gets turned upside down onto the blades. Whatever I put in first had a tendency to stick to the bottom (top) and not get mixed in by the blades. Once I knew not to do that, though, I was fine. My only complaint is that the interior of the cup has ridges and screw threads that are a bit hard to clean. (Are they for strength? Why not put them on the outside so food slides off of the inside?) 72 oz Total Crushing (registered trademark) Pitcher: This is essentially just a nice powerful blender with a big pitcher. The stacked blades make short work of crushing ice (or whatever else needs blended, and it does the work evenly (not over-crushing ice on the bottom while cubes on the top just bounce around). No complaints. The Precision Processor (TM) bowl is basically a food processor. The blades spin more slowly than in the pitcher, but still pretty quickly. It only takes a few seconds to chop vegetables or mix batter. The blades still spin fast enough that I’m not sure if they would work to mix something like bread dough (I haven’t tried yet). What I miss from other food processors is interchangeable blades: I wish it had separate slicing, grating and mixing blades. Even so, the single blade is designed to function in multiple ways. With only a single blade to choose from, this is a good choice. Overall, I think this is a fantastic appliance to have in my kitchen. It takes the place of several other appliances, and it does a great job for a number of tasks. I’ve heard other reviewers of Ninja blenders complain about bowls/pitchers cracking, and only time can speak to how well they will hold up in my experience. From first inspection, though, they appear to be made well out of durable plastic.

Great blender that can blend, crush and process food. It has 1500 watts of power, which for my use seems to be more than enough for making fruit smoothies with strawberries, blueberries and bananas. The largest attachment holds about 8 cups / 64oz of liquid. There is also a single serve size cup and a medium sized cup between the others. There are 3 power setting buttons on the front of the unit, in addition to a pulse button. The pulse button is useful when processing thicker items with liquid. I wouldn’t quite say this blender can completely replace a true food processor because it does lack some of the attachments that a standalone food processor has, however I have found it can take on just about every food processor job I have tried so far, including nuts and some puréeing of other foods. I mostly will use this as a blender so adding in that it can save me kitchen counter space without needing to have a much larger food processor is fantastic for me. My most used of the three containers is the smaller single served cup for a quick post workout smoothie. A great blender that can also do a lot more!

The Ninja UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System is one of those appliances that instantly proves its worth. It has serious power - the kind that crushes ice without slowing down - and it stays consistent no matter what you throw at it. Smoothies, hot soups, slushies, nut butters… everything comes out with a polished, professional texture. Its versatility is boosted by three thoughtfully designed containers: a small cup for single servings, a medium pitcher for everyday use, and a large one for meal prep or entertaining. A clever little opening in the lid lets you add liquids mid‑blend without making a mess, which ends up being more useful than you’d expect. The smart controls are another highlight. The machine automatically recognizes which container you’re using and adjusts the interface so you only see the settings you need. Paired with sturdy suction feet and a solid, premium-feeling build, the UltraCrush feels like a tool made for real kitchens and real daily use. While the containers are plastic instead of glass, they’re durable, lightweight, and resistant to staining - a practical choice for most households. Overall, the Ninja UltraCrush is a powerful, well‑designed system that genuinely elevates everyday cooking. If you want a blender that can handle anything and look good doing it, it’s absolutely worth the investment.

The Ultracrush is a powerful blender - doesn’t take much time to blend! It’s a little loud, but I guess that’s to be expected from something with this much oomph. You won’t have to put up with the noise too long since it makes quick work of blending. I’ve already made daiquiris, mousse brownies, a poblano crema, and chopped broccoli with success. Bottom line, this machine makes quick work of blending, is easy to clean, and large in capacity. I didn’t even use the max button for my slushie drink and only had one small piece of ice in my drinks! It blended my cocktail quickly, was a good slushy consistency, and was easy to pour out with the spout and handle on the pitcher. I’ve been wanting to try all of these cottage cheese recipes coming up in my feeds and also used the pitcher to mix up a batch of four ingredient “brownies”. It was simple to throw everything in and have it blend for me. I could pull the blade tower out and (carefully!) spatula off my batter (don’t wanna waste any brownie batter!). The blade tower has enough room at the top that I felt secure in holding it to do that (and to rinse it off). I used the food processing bowl to chop some broccoli - I only pulsed about three times for what you see in the photo. I kinda wish that it took a little more pulses so that I could have bigger chunks with a pulse or two, but how it turned out worked out for my recipe. I haven't tried any nuts yet, but I think this will make QUICK work of chopping them (I’m so tired of manually chopping with my pullstring chopper). Cleaning up? I could either just rinse the pieces off cleanly right after using the blender, or (as the case with the cottage cheese not rinsing quite as well) pop the pieces in the top rack of the dishwasher. Everything cleaned up well. I just made the crema last night and love how quickly it made a smooth cream. I used the single-serve cup so that I could add the lid to pour out the crema as needed - and just stored the leftovers in it. Handy for more than just on-the-go drinks. I had to listen for a click when putting the cup on and the machine wouldn’t run until it was securely latched on. The lids attach easily and the push button makes it easy to release them. I don’t like that the lid handles/latches can’t be closed without being on the receptacles, but you’ll want to store the lids on the pitcher and the food processor bowl anyway since the blades do not attach - they’re held in by the lid. This makes it simple for pulling the blades out and rinsing them off, but be careful since they’re not attached after you open the lid. The body of the machine stays stuck VERY WELL to my granite countertops - I have to slide it or pull very hard to move it, ha, so I know that it’s going to stay put while using it. Time will tell if the suction cups stay that way or lose their grip, but for now, the grip is strong. If you want the versatility of the three pieces, it’s a powerful blender, but know that it also takes a lot of space to store. It’s large, but easy to use, works well, and is easy to clean.

I have had Ninja blenders before so I had belief and understanding that I was probably going to love this one. For whatever reason it's either been that long since I owned my last one or this one is just that much better, but this thing makes anything I want into mega mush. I chopped up some onions and peppers to dress a steak that I was cooking and I put it on last so that it was slightly sauteed and it came out amazing. The next thing that jumps out at me is the different sizes of blender that come with because there's a real tall one that you can make about 90 smoothies in. There's the little short guy. That's what I chopped up the onions and peppers in and then there's like a travel mug that also comes with a flip top drink lid. That's definitely for your quick smoothies. All in all it is just fantastic and I recommend this to anybody who needs a blender because this is beyond a blender. It's everything and then some. Easy to set up. Easy out of the box. Easy cleanup. It's just everything we have come to expect as customers from the Ninja brand. Get you one now. Hopefully you're reading this in line. Ready to buy it.

It doesn't make creamy peanut butter

I chose Ninja - UltraCrush based on the answer provided by a SharkNinja Product Expert on BestBuy's website. It stated that you can make almond butter using its food processor bowl. I knew from my past experience that almond butter could take longer to blend but figured it's pretty much the same process as making the peanut butter, so that statement alone helped me decide on this product. Before I dive in to my experience making peanut butter, I'd like to note that the enclosed documents were not very helpful. The QR code to Ninja Test Kitchen took me to a bunch of recipes (a lot of different ice creams), but it was not possible to filter to look for a specific recipe, such as peanut butter. I also wish a single serve cup was larger. It's 16 oz but I'm used to making at least 20 oz of smoothies at a time in my old blender cup, so that was another disappointment. Yes, there is a pitcher which is larger but that's too big to make just two servings of smoothies (the cup is also easier to clean). So, back to my peanut butter saga. I put one-cup of dry roasted peanuts without oil in the bowl. In my old food processor, it made very creamy peanut butter within a couple of minutes. In the Ninja food processor, I let it blend for over five minutes but it remained crumply and never became creamy. Basically, the peanuts got stuck at the bottom and the blades couldn't reach it to crush it further to make it creamy. I initially thought it was a bad batch of peanuts, so I tried it with my old food processor and it made creamy peanut butter within a couple of minutes. I thought it could be a user error, so I tried to find more info but couldn't find anything on Ninja's website. At this point, I'm debating whether to keep this Ninja unit because I certainly don't need two food processers/blenders. My old unit still works fine but it was starting to crack in some places, so that got me worried and that's why I was really excited to replace it with the Ninja unit - perhaps that wasn't meant to be. There were two things I liked about this Ninja unit, though. It's nice to have the measuring on the side of the cup, pitcher and bowl. My old ones didn't have that. I also liked the safety features on the lids. One caution - the blades are VERY sharp, so be careful. I cut my finger washing it for the first time, even though I was being careful. I wear gloves when I wash the blades now. I wish I liked this Ninja unit better but it doesn't do what I really wanted, which was to make healthy creamy peanut butter.

Hello there, thank you for the detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear the blender didn’t make creamy nut butter the way you expected, especially after seeing the Product Expert answer. It also shouldn’t leave peanuts stuck at the bottom like that, and we understand how disappointing that is when you were hoping to replace your old unit. Sleek Upgrade for Busy Kitchens

This Ninja is an impressive step up for anyone who relies on their blender for more than just the occasional smoothie. I have had an older Ninja model for years that was absolutely amazing and never let me down, but I finally decided it was time to upgrade to something with more modern features and power. This new system feels like a significant leap forward. The 1500-watt motor has a level of strength that handles everything from frozen fruit to heavy dough without the engine sounding like it is struggling. The "Total Crushing" blades are particularly effective, as they turn a full pitcher of ice into a snow-like consistency almost instantly. Right out of the box, the "machine gray" finish gives it a modern, high end look that fits in well with other kitchen appliances. The design is vertical and relatively compact, so it does not dominate the counter space, and the suction cup feet are a small detail that keeps the base from shifting around during high speed blending. When it comes to using it everything is very straightforward because the different attachments click into place securely. Everything is simple enough that you can get started without much of a learning curve like many other kitchen appliances nowadays. One of the most practical parts of this Ninja is the variety of containers included. Having the 72oz pitcher for big batches is great for hosting, but I find myself using the 8 cup food processor bowl just as often for chopping vegetables or mixing sauces. It really streamlines the process because you are not switching between multiple standalone appliances. The single serve cup is also a lifesaver for busy mornings because it allows for a quick blend and go without a lot of extra cleanup. This Ninja also includes the smart Auto-iQ programs that take the guesswork out of blending by using timed pulses and pauses made for specific tasks like crushing ice which has come in handy. Then once you are finished, the maintenance is again incredibly easy since all the containers, lids, and blade assemblies are BPA free and dishwasher safe. It makes the entire cleanup process very manageable because the last thing we all want to deal with is doing the dishes after a meal. Ultimately, this system is a reliable and powerful choice if you want professional grade results without a complicated setup. It is fast, looks great on the counter, and offers the kind of versatility that makes it an everyday use appliance.

If you are looking to save some space on your kitchen counters or cupboard this could be just the thing you need. My counter is usually cluttered with different appliances and this has helped my kitchen look so much nicer since it has replaced three different small appliances I had out on the counter. The Ninja UltraCrush Kitchen System is a blender, food processor and smoothie/frozen drink maker all in one. The system comes with the 1500w base, huge 72 oz. pitcher/blender and lid, an 8 cup food processor bowl and lid, an 18 oz single serve cup, the Total Crushing blade, Pro Extractor blades, and the chopping blade assembly. The pitcher and ice crushing blade has made a big difference. I can make frozen margaritas for the adults and flavorful ices for the kids. The power from this system has made these types of drinks effortlessly. I hadn’t had a snow cone in ages and it will easily turn ice into snow in seconds. I had forgotten how good they actually are. The 18 oz single serve cup is great for making my morning smoothie. The lid that comes with it is great when you are on the go or doing your workout. The 8 cup food processor will chop and puree with ease. I have made fresh salsa and I had no uneven bits and it didn’t over process like some machines do. I just have to have tortilla chips and salsa with my margaritas. The system can be a bit noisy, but with the power this has, it is no surprise. What blender or food processor isn’t noisy? Clean up is a breeze as most of the attachments are dishwasher safe. Overall I have replaced three different small appliances with this one system. I keep the base on the counter with the food processor attached and just keep the single serve cup and pitcher in the cupboard. The quality and ease of use has made this my new go-to blender plus system. I would highly recommend it. It being such a space saver on my counter is a big plus.

The Ninja - UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System does any job you throw at it with very little effort thanks to its powerful 1,500 Watt 2 HP motor. Be careful not to drop it, as it is fairly heavy, a testament to the solid build quality of Ninja products. The base motor unit is surprisingly quite a bit more compact than our older unit from another popular brand name. This Ninja UltraCrush can handle a wide variety of ingredients such as fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables, ice cubes which will crush, chop, blend, puree and turn it into “snow”. It is simple to use, with just 4 speed buttons, and a pulse button. It comes with a big 72 oz. XL Pitcher & Lid (*64 oz. max liquid capacity), Total Crushing Stacked Blade Assembly, 18 oz. Single-Serve Cup & Spout Lid, Pro Extractor Blades Assembly, 8-Cup Precision Processor™ Bowl & Lid, Chopping Blade Assembly. My basic test on all blenders is to make a custom frozen strawberry smoothie, so I added a few good chunks of frozen strawberries, also added a handful of fresh blueberries that I normally use for breakfast and half a glass of OJ. Done in no time, good texture and a perfect blend. Also my lunch treat, made an ice cream milkshake, both using the 18 oz single serve cup that has a convenient lid with a spout you can easily pour the contents out of. I can’t wait for the weather to get a little warmer to use the big XL 72 oz Pitcher and make some frozen pina coladas for family and friends get togethers. As for the food processor attachment, our immediate need was to make a small meatloaf, so with some cut up semi-frozen chicken pieces, using the pulse function did a wonderful job chopping in-lieu of a grinder. We then used another personal favorite, the Ninja Foodi NeverStick Pan/Steamer set to complete the dinner. Cleaning up after dinner prep or smoothie prep was also easy, since the stainless steel blade assemblies are removable (be careful as they are super sharp) and the cups are dishwasher safe. All in all, the Ninja - UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System is a versatile, multi-functional kitchen appliance that’s built to last. I know we’ll enjoy using it frequently for years to come.

    A system you'll actually use

Like most people, I needed a "blender" for my kitchen. Just a normal blender to mix up a milkshake or maybe a smoothie. Pretty basic stuff but after having this little blender system for a bit, I can easily say this is what you really want when you say you need a blender. To start, this thing is quite powerful. I've had older blender that just couldn't cut through that chunk of ice or had too much veggies to blend so you'd have to back it off a bit. Not with this thing. This thing will chew through just about whatever you throw into it. Ice, whole vegetables, thick potatoes....this little thing will cut right through all that easily allowing you uninterrupted blending fun. Probably the nicest thing about this system is the different containers you get with it. No more one size fits all and just throw everything into the mixer and hope for the best. Here you can choose which container to use for optimal performance and get whatever you need out of this. You have the normal "blender" container which is probably what most people will wind up using. You can get your margaritas or smoothies ready for the party easily with this container or any sort of marinade/chutney you want to create as well. You have a smaller food processor container for things like salsas or maybe chopping up veggies. And lastly you have the solo use milkshake attachment for when you are just creating something for yourself. Really nice how you're able to pick and choose which container suits your needs and from there all from one device.

Reliable and effective, Ninja does blenders right

INTRODUCTION: I love smoothies (and frozen margaritas) and wanted to start making them at home, but I didn’t have a blender. So, when the opportunity came to get one, this was the model I chose. I have had the Ninja – UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System for a week now, and so far, I am not regretting my decision to pick this blender. For starters, Ninja’s blenders typically last a few years and have a decent amount of power. From my family’s experience, this company makes reliable blenders; they just work exactly as you need them to do, period. While my mother and sister have owned multiple Ninja products over the years, this is my first blender, so I was excited to try it out. PROS: The blades are huge and sharp, clearly designed for quickly crushing ice as the name suggests. The blender itself is fast, it takes seconds to chop and blend contents, which matters if you’re impatient (like me) or simply in a rush. Two to three minutes or less is usually all you need, depending on the recipe. A big pro is that the blender is easy to clean. Most of the parts are dishwasher safe (which is standard for most Ninja blenders), and if you choose to clean it manually, all it takes is a squirt of dish soap and adding some hot water to the pitcher, mount it to the base and turn it on for a minute or two, and it basically cleans itself. All you need to do afterwards is rinse out the soapy water then dry it and voila, it’s clean and ready to go for future use. To clean the base, you just need a damp towel to wipe it down. Another pro is that the blender comes with a large food processor in addition to the pitcher. The food processor is perfect for making salsa, hummus, chunky tomato sauce, some meat sauces, and any other dips and sauces you desire. This model also includes an 18-oz cup that converts into a travel tumbler which is convenient for taking a breakfast shake or smoothie on the go. Unlike some other Ninja blenders, the UltraCrush doesn’t have dedicated “smoothie” or “crush” buttons. Instead, the UltraCrush has “total crushing power” buttons that are labeled by speed: low, medium, high, and max. The high setting is probably best for making drinks. The medium setting is probably best for using the food processor, depending on what ingredients you use, while the max setting is best for making thick smoothies with chunkier ingredients. CONS: If you are thinking of getting this model, make sure you have the space for it. I personally hate the size of it; it’s huge and takes up a lot of my counter space, but people with larger kitchens might not have this issue. It’s also heavy to lift, with the base estimated to weigh almost 15 pounds, so if you have physical limitations that will make picking up and moving the blender an issue, I don’t recommend this model for you. There are also suction cups on the bottom of the base, and they are strong. I almost panicked and thought they were stuck to my counter when I tried to slide the machine over; it was that hard to move! Also, the 72-oz pitcher is tall and bulky, and the 8-cup food processor is wide and bulky, so make sure you consider where you’re going to store the attachments prior to purchasing this blender. I recommend going to the store to see the Ninja – UltraCrush in person first and making your determination then. The size will be more of an issue for people with small kitchens and/or limited space to store large appliances. Speaking of storage cons, another con for me is that after you set up the blender and secure the lid to the pitcher, once you remove the lid, you can’t push the lid’s handle back down ever again. The handle on the lid stays up perpetually except for when it’s attached to the pitcher. Apparently, this is a safety mechanism, but it makes storing the unit difficult unless I store the pitcher with the lid on it. This feature is odd to me and very annoying. Fresh out the box, the lid’s handle is completely down and locked in place, but as soon as you lift the handle up, the only way to get it to go back down again is to attach it to the pitcher. This isn’t the only Ninja blender with this feature, so it must be standard for them. I personally think they should re-think this design. I also find it a little hard to turn and lock the accessories in place into the base, but I think with additional usage, that will cease to be a problem. CONCLUSION: Size and quirky lids aside, this blender is powerful, fast, and efficient. The Ninja – UltraCrush is safe to use and simple to clean. Aesthetically, it looks nice on your kitchen counter and does remind me of something a professional chef might use. It’s a Ninja product so it’s reliable and will likely last you a while. I think if you are someone that likes to cook and entertain, you will get a lot of use out of this. It’s great for making large batches of margaritas, daiquiris, mudslides, and even milkshakes; while the pitcher is heavy, its lid includes a spout that makes it easier to pour out the contents. If you are a single person that doesn’t have the time in the morning for breakfast, use this to make a smoothie or protein shake. If its size is not an issue for you, the Ninja – UltraCrush is a great purchase. I also think it makes a great gift for the “chefs” in your life.

The Ninja - UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System is remarkable. It comes with a very small (Says 18 Oz) cup for your personal smoothie, a food processor style container, and of course, the big blender style container. Getting it all out of the box was a breeze, and figuring out which parts goes to what, was pretty simple, even without using the instructions, which you should always read. After I placed my frozen fruit, some water, and protein powder into the personalized size cup, I set it to low. The Ninja turned that frozen fruit into a puree like it was nothing. I mean, in less than 5 seconds, I had a super smoothie ready to go. Later on in the day, I needed my second shake, so I proceeded to double up the amount of fruit, water, and of course, protein. I was impressed. I did use pulse on this one, and it did great. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Ninja, and I’m astonished at how well it does without an ounce of fight. Oh, one last thing, the bottom of it does have suction cups, which is a plus, unless you’re trying to move it out of the way one-handed while in the other hand you have hot food. So be aware of that. Overall, great, and I love this thing. I use it daily, multiple times a day.
