I wouldn't expect anyone to buy this season without already being familiar with the show. So I'll just say the wait for X-Files on blu ray was worth it. For a show of it's age, the picture looks great!

first off I have owed all 9 seasons of the x-files on dvd and have binged watched them here or there over the years , but when I found out that they were coming out on blue ray, I got re-excited ! I have binge watched the seasons as I have bought them so heres my breakdown of season 8 great season with the trasition from the original cast to the new cast , however some episodes are very dark almost like the transfer was off, I wonder if there will be a replacement or recall on this season? other than that sound is good but terrible dark muddled picture quality, hold off on buying this season and check to see if a recall

Queue music and go, Mulder and Skully are at it again. If you like the thought of government conspiracies, alien abductions and things that go bump in the day then you wont be disappointed.

agent john doggett is skeptical about the numerous reptilian creatures that shape shift into human forms and who to trust. Scully is ready to give birth and on a mission trying to find Muldder.

So happy to finally get the X-files series on Blu-ray! This is a must have for anybody that loved the series and released just in time to re-watch the old episodes before the new series starts.

I was able to grab this while it was on sale and a very good price! Ithe was an awesome deal for an awesome show! I haven't seen it at the price I got it for anywhere else's since!

The X-Files is an iconic television series which is more than worthy of blu-ray treatment. The episodes look better than ever. A bargain at the price offered. Highly recommended.

While season 8 is not one of their strongest seasons, there is still a lot to like. There are still a lot of great story lines and expansion of the mythology is interesting.

For Sci-fi fans who like their horror, season 8 can't be overlooked. Sure Mulder is missing but it adds a much needed new perspective. Be sure to watch these with the lights on!

Enjoy this great series again in HD. Quality is great and extras included fill in information for the season. Learn secrets about characters and enjoy from the beginning.

The story line of season 8 kind of reaches its limit, but still a fun show to watch nonetheless. It is interesting to compare the contrast to season one, so I will watch this just for that reason.

Love and simply love x files. since mulder kinda took a break from the show the episodes havent been really the same but its still a good season. Buy it.

Even though not the best season but still enjoyable. Had to return discs to Fox for replacements due to "Black Crush" problem on most episodes. Search for this problem on Internet.

I ended up getting the collectors box set as well but these in general are great too. Man I have been waiting forever for them to release these....

It is well worth purchasing the Blu Ray version of the X Files. Amazing clarity compared to original release. A must have for all X Files fans.

This is the season where Agent Mulder disappeared from the show. They brought new agents to the show and Agent Scully helped to carry the show.

Loved this series when it was on TV. The recent reboot and being able to purchase full seasons for under ten bucks made this a no brainer.

Like my previous reviews of the X-files. On Blu Ray has me hopping around like a jackrabbit on a caffeine rush. So happy it has come out.

I love that all seasons of The X-Flies have been released in blu-ray format. This is another great season of this historic show!

I had the DVD set but at this price and smaller size in my Sci-Fi collection it seemed like a good time to replace with bluray.
