I know a lot of people said that this movie was awful but I truly don't know what the heck they heck were looking at. This movie is so good. In the other movies Phoenix really got on my nerves but not this Phoenix. This Venus was so sweet and very loving which made her very strong! By this movie people because it is truly good!

I heard mixed reviews about this movie, but I’ve learned that I need to watch it myself and make my own opinion and this movie was very good.

I'm not sure why this move did so bad. The story is OK. Not as good as the original Marvel Phoenix Saga story but it is what it is. The cast was great. Action is good. Would I love to see this follow the "comic book exactly one day"? Yes of course. Perhaps one day Marvel will re-due this. In the meantime, its worth seeing.

Despite the harsh reviews, I did enjoy this movie. Watch it for entertainment factor and not comic book cannon, and it's not a bad movie.

To the credit of the director and writers the story is more based on the real "human" emotions of all the characters, making it more compelling and less of a mere "popcorn" movie. This is a more adult film with performances from some very fine actors. Don't pay attention to the unjustifiable bad reviews this movie has gotten.

I have very conflicted feelings about this movie. I enjoyed the cast of talented actors, but the plot seemed to be very convoluted. I kept trying to make it mesh with previous X-Men movies focusing on mutants and where they fit in that I enjoyed, but couldn’t make that happen. All the space energy stuff and aliens just seemed odd and didn’t mesh well with the X-Men franchise in general. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it either.

Movie was good better than expected it's more like a stand alone story doesn't fit into the sequence of movies would be my only issue

Story I thought was better but still lacking in some areas for reasons unknown. Story however holds up and characters acters did well.

I am a big comic fan and love to see them brought to the screen, especially when I can get them on Black Friday at these sale prices

Not the best, but not the worst. Fox's final installment of the X-Men saga. Marvel will be the ones to continue anew in the future.

Far better than the first iteration of the Phoenix saga. I loved the film. I grew up with the comics and cartoon. This did it justice.

I thought that this movie was decent when I saw it in the theater, but the special features make it worth buying this on Blu Ray/4K.

Great dvd and lots of extras including commentary from directors, gag reel, deleted scenes, and a making of the movie documentary.

I very much enjoyed this movie and find it a shame that this series is ending at Fox since they may have finally found the recipe.

Lots of action scenes. Great graphics. I regret only getting the Blu-ray version and not the 4K ultra high definition version.

I thought the previous movies in this franchise were well done. This one was alright but not very good. I would rent it first

Overall, the story was good and I love the evolution of her character to the phoenix. The only thing missing was wolverine!!!

I do not agree with the reviews that were given by others on this movie! It does take a little imagination and fantasy to get into this continuation of the X-Men universe but the creators make it work and tie it in with genius and I highly recommend this movie to add to any X-Men universe collection!

Did not catch this at the theater. Nice to watch in the privacy of your own theater. Interesting addition to the XMen saga

Enjoyable movie. Hoped to see how Phoenix appeared in the Wolverine movie, disappointed. Love having the digital copy!
