This concludes FOX run on the franchise with a film, I believe, they intended to make with Bryan Singer directing, the original 3rd of a trilogy. Entertaining. Would've loved another cameo by you know who, but alas... Was not to be.

Overall this was an entertaining new film. The multiple timelines of the X-Men universe is confusing, so you kind of expect what is going to happen but everything is just a little different compared to the older movies with Jean Grey

I liked the new X-Men movie, but I did have mixed feelings about it. One one hand, I was sad about this being the last X-Men movie. On the other hand, I wish that the people at Disney would stick to the comic stories a little bit more.

I had been waiting to add this movie to my collection ever since seeing it in the theater. I wondered if the video transfer would be just as good and memorable as it was when I saw it on the big screen. I got this at a good price and was not disappointed when I got it home and quickly played it on my Samsung 4k upscaling blu-ray player. This is a really good movie and the color and quality were both outstanding. I recommend this highly!

While I still enjoy most Marvel based movies (this included), there are some definitive issues with story line and I'm sure this could've been a better product if the Disney buyout of Fox hadn't occurred. Still, it is entertaining.

this set didn't come with a DVD option so I will be lost if I have to go back to the stone age. I will watch it again but I am left confused by the departures and changes from the story lines set up in previous X Men releases

This movie goes more in depth with the backstory of Jean and her powers. The story stands alone so viewing the other movies in the series is not a prerequisite. It is action-packed throughout and has some great visual effects.

I enjoyed this movie overall. I wasn't a big fan of the part of the plot that wasn't focused on the Dark Phoenix saga, but I did enjoy the action scenes. It isn't a horrible movie, but it's not my favorite X-men movie either.

This one besides the last two flicks this one I enjoyed. The characters were more believable in this one plus the action scenes were on the money. And in 4K the picture is pretty good but not better then apocalypse quality.

I know that many reviews don't appreciate or like the Xmen series but I personally have enjoyed most of them. This is not my favorite of the series, but overall it was pretty good. My kids also enjoyed the movie and series.

Dark Phoenix has gotten a lot of hate, some of it well deserved and some of it not so much. I do not think this film is that "bad" so much as it is just "okay". If you've seen previous X-Men films, there is not much new here that stands out. There was a lot of potential in this story from the comics that, unfortunately, was not all realized in the film. Overall, I thought the film was an average good time to watch and do not regret watching it. The soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, however, is Phenomenal and the strongest part of this film. The technical merits of the blu ray discs are good. If you like this film, pick it up.

The movie itself is okay, it varies on one's opinion as some would say otherwise. But if you love Dark Phoenix (cartoon and/or comics) I would recommend the steelbook being part of your collection! The art on it is amazing!

This is a good film ending the long time Fox X-men franchise. Dark Phoenix is beautifully acted by Sophie Turner who turns on her fellow X-men After being possessed by the Phoenix force. Great action and special effects.

As a fan of X-men, I have seen all the other X-men movies. Having done this helps puts this story in context. If I had not, a lot would have been lost. The movie is worth it, but you DO NEED to see the other movies.

Don’t really see why it bombed in theaters I thought it was great . Maybe they just made to many x-man movies. Deducted one star cause of the stupid Best Buy sticker that won’t peel off with out messing up the case.

I don't understand why a decent movie like this one got so many bad reviews. Personally, not the weakest from the rebooted X-Men franchise. As any collector, I went for the steelbook version and it did not disappoint.

I enjoyed this film but I hope, in the future of the X-men, that the characters that didn’t make it, are still able to be used in future films. I enjoyed the feel and and look of this steelbook. Looks great in 4K.

If you know the story of the X-men or have seen the various movies you will probably realize how big of a hole this blows in the other story lines. Good movie in and of itself but ruins the continuity of the series.

I don’t understand why this movie didn’t do so well, yes the ending may not be the strongest but this movie definitely isn’t as bad a X3. I would definitely recommend someone to watch this and give it a chance.
