This refresh of the original X-Men trilogy is a superior version. The originals were campy and boring. This movie introduces us to the beginning of the X-Men with much superior actors with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence. These are award winning actors. There's a better story, a darker Magneto, and best of all it's not stupid. Also, see days of future past, which is an even better movie than First Class.

Erik Lensherr's arc is magnificent, and Michael Fassbender's performance excellent. I was less interested in the other scenes and collection and of mutants they assembled for the X-men team. James McAvoy was great as Xavier, but I miss the true "first class" of the comics (Jean, Scott, Beast, Angel, and Iceman). Still, in all, a solid effort and a nice lead-in to the excellent Days of Future Past.

Once I've found out that Logan would be Huge Jackman's last Wolverine movie, I took it upon my self to complete my X-Men movies, I need only a few to complete my collection. First on my list was X-Men first class. This item was well packaged, steel cover is amazing and worth every penny! Definitely a recommend!

We're brought into this world and our upbringing and environment can either be one of chaos, joy, or sometimes a blending of the two. We then make the choices that define ourselves. This is the story of how one becomes the person they are.

I had never seen this movie before and picked up a steel copy for $7.99. This story goes in depth to explain how Magneto became evil and also explains some of the other characters pasts. Overall great flick for the price. The steelbook is really nice. Make sure you watch this before X1.

I am an avid comic book fan who loves the many comic book films that have came out in recent years. Some have disappointed while others have exceeded my expectations. X-Men First Class is in the latter group. I didn't expect to like it when I first heard about it, but after I saw it I rank it up towards the top of my favorite comic book movies.

Of the 6 main X-films not counting the two Wolverine, this might be the best one. We see a new side of magneto and sympathize with his struggle instead of just a good guy/bad guy faceoff. This is the first time we saw some real depth to an X-Men movie. Must own for just about any X-men or superhero film fan.

I grabbed this along other entries in the X Men franchise for under 10 dollars each. Easy purchase to add to my steelbook collection! First Class is perhaps my favorite X Men movie of all time (even though it doesn't feature Wolverine).

I never saw this movie when it came out because the trailer looked silly. But this movie is much better than I expected. I can't believe the content they chose for the trailer. This was actually a very good movie. It had a good flowing plot, great special effects. Action and humor.Looks great on blu-ray. Definitely worth watching.

After the travesty that was X-Men 3 and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, its nice to see the X-Franchise get back on track. It's great fun watching the young Xavier and Magneto duke it out, and the set pieces during the Cuban Missile Crisis are pretty thrilling. Some of the side-characters that are introduced are weak, but they aren't bad enough to ruin what is otherwise a perfectly good popcorn movie.

Coming off a disappointing end to the previous franchise, my expectations for this movie were tempered. To my surprise, this was a well-constructed and exciting, enjoyable superhero movie. It's not a Batman Begins-like move, where it's a superhero movie that's not like a superhero movie, but it still delivers on many levels.

First Class does an amazing job on giving you a strong history of the characters that would grow up to be the super humans of the earlier X-men films. This is truly the origins tale that X-men fans have been looking for. I definitely recommend this movie with two thumbs up. Plus it has an unbeatable price at Best Buy!

This is a great movie. It might be my favorite out of all of the X-Men movies. I highly recommend it, and buying this version of it with the DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital Copy is a smart purchase. I love being able to access my digital copy from the apps on my Smart TV without having to get out the disc!

I was skeptical going into "First Class" since I had enjoyed the original set of X-Men films, but this film is incredible. Fassbender takes an excellent turn as Magneto, and McAvoy makes an interesting young Xavier. I don't understand people's fascination with Jennifer Lawrence, but she does Mystique justice, and her motivations make sense, as do Magneto's. Awesome film!

This movie was always a favorite of mine, but I had to have it after seeing X-Men Days of Future Past. Both these movies together rival anything off of the Marvel movies and puts me in the mood for the next X-Men movie, Apocalypse. If you haven't seen it, I can't recommend this and X-Men: DOFP enough.

Great casting for versions of the older characters. Good special effects. The prequel explains the origins of the characters in the other movies well. You don't have to have seen the other movies to understand this one. Great idea to get a ticket to the new movie "Days of Future Past" included in Blu-ray.

The 4K transfer of the X-Men:First Class is awesome. I'm just starting my 4K collection and since I never purchased them on Blu-Ray now is the time to start. The colors are amazing and the audio will blow you off the couch.(My personal favorite.) Must own for X-MEN fans.

Typically in my experience FOX has put out some pretty bad video quality blu-rays but this new 4K transfer looks pretty amazing. Better than expected and very satisfied. A very good origin story with great performances too. One of the better MARVEL products out there.

It is the true class of actors who can see who went before them yet making the role their own. The back story I enjoyed and a jumping off point showing how the two factions of X Men were formed. As the first one in the trilogy With Days of Future Past out in movie theatres now I recommend this.

By now you’ve seen X-Mem First Class, I’m sure. If you haven’t, it’s one of the best in the series. I highly recommend purchasing this version (I replaced my old one that didn’t come with a digital copy) because the steelbook case is so well-done!
