I love the way they brought these characters to life and owned each one as their own. The plot kept you interested and the effects were very well done and made that world very real. It made you care about people who don't look like you. How we are truly all humans.

I bought the series on sale during the 2013 holiday season and I happy that I took the opportunity to own this great franchise. The cast chosen portrayed the characters perfectly and I recommend this movie and the rest of series to all Blue Ray collectors!

This is a great option if you just want the movie and a HD digital copy. It doesn’t include the second disc despite what the back cover says, so it loses a star for that, but I already knew that when I bought it. The slipcover is different art than the actual case, so that’s a bonus.

X-Men on Blu Ray looks fantastic with Rich blacks and clarity however the special features are a little empty but you can download the movie with the digital code it comes with to view the special features

Great start for the series. Very well casted movies Wolverine, Toad, Cyclops, Mystique and many others great choices. This movie does a wonderful job of juggling so many characters but still making it an enjoyable movie

This first installment of the the X-Men series explains the struggles of these genetic mutations and how they must serve mankind under the leadership of Professor X and fight against the evil influence of Magneto. An all-star cast and great special effects greatly helps this first action adventure.

This movie is what started the whole comic book into movie revival. Is an exemplary movie with a fantastic cast. The director did a good job of making it original but keeping it true to its roots. Would highly recommend.

I liked this installment best of the 3 X-Men movies as I felt it focused on the central characters that were introduced and established in the 1st movie. Great special effects and sound are only enhanced on the blu-ray edition.

X-men started the whole superhero genre and it did so with a bang. lots of mutant in a single movie yet everybody shines on their own role. Bryan Singer knows how to make the character work. Awesome

This film is great and even years later I purchased the Blu-Ray version after owning the DVD. Great overall film and the better viewing on a Blu-ray is an added bonus. A must have for fans and those wondering what an Xmen is

X-Men pretty much changed the game when it comes to Super Hero movies. Although this particular film may not hold up quite as well today, it is still a very provocative, thinking-man's Super Hero movie.

I had not seen the original movies so I decided to go and get them so I wouldn't be out of the loop on the newer X Men movies. I am a BIG fan of X Men and this was truly a great way to kick off the franchise!

It is hard for other X-men movies to top this movie. X2 comes close, but that's it. If you haven't seen any of the X-Men movies, start with this one. The SteelBook edition is a nice touch too.

I have been an X-men fan since I was a child in the late 80's. Although this movie doesn't quite live up to today's superhero movies necessarily, this was the beginning of a string of films that brought me back to my childhood. A must own on BluRay!

The X-Men franchise is a great series; I've seen the movies and am collecting them all on video. I shop at Best Buy for when there is special pricing, and have been able to get them all at great prices.

...I bought all three titles to watch again. I got the blu ray & digital code for all three. This first movie is my favorite in the trilogy. I also bought the individual Wolverine movies.

Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Rebecca Romain Stamos, all do wonderful jobs as Wolverine, Professor X, and Mystic. My second favorite X-men movie. My favorite is X-men origins Wolverine.

Enjoyed the movie, but the dvd packaged with the movie was not for xmen. It included the dvd for x2 instead of xmen. Exchanged it for another copy only to find the new copy had the packaging error as well.

The original that started it all! Still holds up well today, enjoy before Disney takes away the hard hitting social commentary and replaces with dance offs and smart alecks!

This being the first X-men in the series, it was great and action packed. This movie left a lot to the imagination and was great start to the series. The quality of the blu-ray was fantastic and I could watch this movie 100 times.
