My kids like playing the Kinect games it came with. Older kids or more serious gamers will prefer using the new rechargeable wireless controller sold separately. You can do some cool things using voice control like turning the Xbox and TV on and off, changing channels or bringing up channel guide and DVR functions depending on your cable provider. Discounts from Microsoft made this more attractive as it was a bit pricey before.

Just wanted to say that the Xbox 1 went together extremely easy. My son loves playing the games on it.

New to gaming, and not interested in racing or fighting games. So I picked a bundle with the Kinect. Very happy that I did. The games that use the Kinect are a hoot. Have not had any issues with the system. It was easy to set up and configure. I've had questions for Xbox support, and they have been just great to work with. My only complaint after about a month is that the system is not a speedster! It does take awhile for games to load. Other than that, I'm perfectly happy with the purchase.

I am happy with the unit in general but am disappointed I cannot use my games and exercise discs designed for the 360 Kinect. The list of games that can be played from 360 is limited and more recent - I could not vote on the games I have. I hope Xbox adds a true retro program upgrade to allow older 360 games to be played on One.

The kinect is really cool. The avetar looks just like you. They also like the minecraft games a lot.

We needed an xbox one to replace our xbox 360. Good deal and we snatched it. Wish we had room to play our kinect though.

SO COMING FROM PS3 TO XBOX ONE WAS A HARD DECISION. I HAVE BEEN A PLAYSTATION PLAYER SINCE PLAYSTATION 1 AND EVENTHOUGH I PLAYED XBOX, XBOX360, I WASN'T A BIG FAN. NOW I LOVE MY XBOX ONE BECUASE IT IS NOT JUST A GAME CONSOLE - IT IS AN ENTRETAIMENT HUB. I LOVE THE VOICE ACTIVATED FEATURED AND THE NAVIGATION TAB. THE ONLY CON- I HAVE IT'S THE SLOW TURNING-ON PROCESS. IKNOW THERE IS WAY TO MAKE THINGS FAST BUT I'M STILL LEARNING. I WILL RECOMMENDED FOR A FAMILY CONSOLE.

This was a Christmas gift for my boys. They have wanted to upgrade to the One since our 360 stopped working in the summer. Unfortunately, I didn't do my homework very well. None of our Xbox 360 games can be played on the Xbox One. So, now we are spending tons of money replacing the games. It used to be that when you upgraded your systems, you could still play your old games... guess they make more $ this way. That being said, they system is amazing, & they LOVE it!!
