So this is a strategy game. It similar to chess in that you need to put your team in the right spots to succeed. Might sound easy but it's really really tough. Fun though!

This is my first foray into the xcom franchise, and I'm hooked. I got the PS4 version since the PC version is much more expensive. You are sacrificing nothing by playing the console version except for perhaps DLC you can find on Steam.

Great turned based combat, awesome story, great graphics, and deep customization. This is a great game for turned based strategy fans or sci-if fans

Have not played it completely, but it is harder than the previous versions. Trying out different strategies to see what works best. A great game.

XCom 2 ported so well, the graphics are amazing. The story is compelling, and it's still a cerebral and difficult game.

This is a great game with plenty of options a good story and nice graphics. So much about this game is great I hateto give it an average score. But for players like me who prefer to take time and casually experience a game it failed. I found myself battling the clock more than fighting the enemy. Players that want to experience the main story only will enjoy the game more.

I have played a couple of other XCOM games, so I knew what to expect mostly. I'm normally not into these types of games, but there's something about this series that I really enjoy. Everything is fairly solid about this game, but there are signs that a little bit more polish would have been nice, nothing that hinders the game though. If you like squad based RTS then this is a sure thing.

Good challenge, story is good enough to get you through the game, a lot of fun.

Totally improves over the last entry and very combat and strategically influenced

I am going to keep this simple this is sheer guerrilla warfare and doesn't hide the fact that you are the underdogs in a already uphill battle against a enemy that both out guns and out numbers you and quite honestly makes you work for every victory and feel every loss be it a soldier or a entire battle. Trust me by all means you won't want it any kind of way.

Great game. Better than xcom1. Not for beginners very challenging.

By far, one of the best games I have every played. Replay value is limitless, challenge can vary from really easy for new comers, to literally just abusive for the serious challenge seekers. Its the game that keeps giving that you just can't get enough of. A must buy, and a must keep. If you never have, try Xcom 2. You will not be disappointed.

I played Enemy Unknown and Enemy Within many times and this is a fresh take with a great level of challenge. It has long load times and I still give it a 5 because I don't care about the wait since the payoff is worth it every time. The DLC adds a crazy level of challenge especially at the top difficulties. Recommend to anyone who enjoys tactical games!

This game is amazing. Simply put if you are a turn based fan it's a must own or even a science fiction fan it's a must own. The character creation is deep and rich, progression makes it to where you really care about your individual squad and whether they live or die. You will be reloading checkpoints just to save that sniper you've grown fond of.

If you every played Xcom on PC you’ll really enjoy the PS4 version. Plays just like PC version, but on a much bigger screen.

Fans of XCOM will certainly enjoy the new game, but there were some technical issues which shouldn't be present on a game which was released almost a year earlier. Several times I was unable to do anything and had to close the game. Also, the load times are horrendous. Going to a mission takes you through 3 loading screens. If possible, buy it on PC.
