Xena: Warrior Princess is a fun series to watch. Generally good morals about helping the vulnerable against the mighty who try to control through force. A companion series to Hercules at that time on tv.

I actually bought this as a gift for someone who enjoyed the series when it originally aired. I couldn't pass up the complete first season at the price.

My opinion to this series of action/adventure that you get with Xena is a great show. I love it and I believe you will to.

Remember watching this as a kid on the weekends such a good show

I have always been interested in Greek mythology, and here is a fictionalso story with just a little basis in mythology with a strong female lead.

It was pretty good for the old Sci Fi shows that were on at the time.

Contrary to what SOME people will say here, DVD players are still used by more people than Blue-Ray machines. If you come out with it on Blue Ray, then great, but it was DEFINITELY a better idea to come out with the DVD first. Not ALL of us are slaves to technology & it would be presumptuous & inconsiderate to assume all people have Blue-Ray machines, especially in this economic climate. Thank you, Universal Studios, for recognizing that & bringing back this amazing show.

i have had this series as well as hercules for years now on DVD and it is awesome intense and funny the acting is spot on and so it the production value in fact it's much better than the garbage the put on TV these days and if i were rich i would get a new tv and a blu ray player so i could buy this in the blu ray format but i work for a living so thats not an option for me...still it is great....

I don''t understand how this can be a pre-order when this has been on DVD for years. I want them to release both Xena and Hercules on Blu-ray. Dvds are a thing of the past and this is my most beloved TV show ever and I will buy every single season of both Hercules and Xena if it is on Blu-ray. Come on guys, its 2010, get with the program
