Customers are saying

Customers admire the AMD Radeon VII 16GB HBM2 graphics card's performance and substantial RAM, praising its ability to handle demanding games and applications at high settings. However, some users express concern regarding the card's cooling system, noting that it tends to run warm and that the fans can be noisy under load. The card's power efficiency is also a positive aspect mentioned by some customers.

This is the current speed king of AMD video cards for Linux. I've been running it rock solid on Fedora after some initial bumps with earlier kernels right after the card's launch. I'm very pleased with this card and the 16GB of memory is nice to have for gaming on dual 1440p monitors.

Better performance than an RTX2070 super.

Slightly better performance with games than RTX2070 super. Very stable drivers. This is essentially a Pro-Render recommend card if you're using it for compute and the RTX 2070 Super is no match in that area. 16GB of HBM2 and the HBCC feature allows virtual memory to be configured past 24GB means that this card has a long shelf life and resale value compared to RTX. Especially because it's supports MacOS. This is a pro-card under the hood. It can idle at mere 4W but needs a well ventilated case as it can pull 250W.

This new radeon vii card is a beast, plays every current game at max settings no problem. I did experience some shudder in the new Doom game but turned off adaptive sync and it went away. Runs at over 100fps at 4k like a champ, runs hot but there are threads about how to help it out unless you want to run a water cooled setup.
