Been running the new 7900 XTX for the last week and so far have been very impressed with the reference model. MUCH faster than my old Nvidia 3090 FE. The card while small compared to my 3090, is still pretty hefty. Fans are fairly quiet, up to about 70% then start to get a little noisy. But with 70% fan, temps are well under control in the 60-64C range for edge temps and 80C hot spot after extended gaming sessions. With dropping the voltage to 1.1v from the stock 1.15v and just +5% PL, clocks in games like Assassins Creed Valhalla will hit 2.8-2.9ghz. I have tested lots of games as well as a couple VR games and have not had any issues yet. RT performance is slightly better than my 3090, which is good enough for me, since I have yet to be impressed with any RT implementation yet anyway. For the price and most traditional 4k gamers the 7900 XTX seems to be the best bang for the buck right now, unless you are really a RT fan, then spending the extra $600 on the 4090 might be better for you.

Excellent card. Slightly faster than 4080 at a lower price in non ray tracing games, even at 4k. Very satisfied.

The best graphics card . Max fps pugb 4k 315 fps . But when normal playing game fps 210-270 fps 4k ultra setting . I tested pugb with ryzen 9 5950x and PSU only 850w . Don't need to upgrade 1000w psu . No black screen . No crashed anything !!!!

This GPU had potential to really crush NVIDIA however I think the price to performance is there, but the flaws on this card such as high watt draw during idle and driver issues is what makes me not want to recommend this card to others...

No issues with my. OC's to +15% and junction temp and core temps arer within 15-20c of each other. Which means no issues with vapor chamber that effects some of the cards with water being less. I think the new batches coming out are fine with recent drops. Rock stable and running nice and cool. Tested with furmark and oc +15% and all the games. Even OC temps barely hit 90c on junction with custom fan profile to run below 2000rpm, which is near silent. Love the size and performance. Buy this worry free I don't think the new batches have vapor chamber water not being fully filled. Buy worry free, at the very worst you get full refund from bestbuy. Can't wait for January drivers. Tech heads are mentioning the January and Feb drivers are suppose to bring mroe performance and efficiency improvments.

It was a nice card but overheating and ran too hot so had to return it. Just leaving this review for a chance to win $400 that's the honest truth... The card runs hot when you have 2 monitors plugged into it at the same time. This is the main reason I returned it.

Great performance despite the price tag. It does run pretty hot though.

Very hefty and premium feeling GPU, but hot spot/junction temperature rockets up to 110 celsius during load making the card sound like a jet engine. It would also crash occasionally while idling even after going through the process of nuking the drivers with DDU. Definitely returning it.

Returned and happily paid extra for the 4080, driver is bad.

Very powerful card that suffers from poor quality control. The vapor chamber is faulty and I needed to RMA the card 3 times.

This cards thermal throttling is disappointing, I returned it and bought a 4080 within a week
