Customers are saying
Customers are pleased with the Speedster MERC310's performance and large VRAM capacity, finding it offers great value for its price. However, some customers note the card's substantial size and that ray tracing performance could be improved. While cooling is generally praised, some users report experiencing noise issues at higher loads.

Great.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card was a great upgrade from my 2080. Handles 1440p really well. I cant speak on its 4k performance as I have a 1440p monitor.not 5 stars because the value isnt there. This card should be 100$ cheaper at least.Better value than nvidia.

Great except mounting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For starters, the page is wrong about RDNA2. This is RDNA3. Coming from an RX580 by XFX which was a warranty replacement for an old R9 390, this 7900XT is not just night and day different...it's night vs the best day of your life different. Everything runs smooth as butter now and I feel confident this will deliver solid performance for years ahead. This is my first high end GPU bought at the start of a cycle. I generally go the $300-$500 price segment late in cycles when prices drop. Decided to splurge for once. Probably a bad idea but, the more I just looked at all the options, the more I didn't like what either side offered. nVidia has the performance but their VRAM allotments are always good for this gen and next, not good for later. 3000 series to me is also overpriced for what it is. 4000 series even more. AMD's 6000 series I pondered a lot about but, the prices on it are also too high for a card exiting the stage. Couldn't rationalize the expense, especially for anything high end when the 7000 series was not much more. My last nVidia was a Fermi and it was a fantastic card till it's poor VRAM allotment caught up. After going AMD on the 390, I saw how well it aged. The RX580, carried well too. Still very capable. This 7900XT, I suspect will be similar. I honestly would have gone the XTX too had it been available. Not because I run 4K but for longevity. Run this on a 2560x1080 ultrawide. The only real issue with this is mounting. It comes with a support bar but XFX fails hard at how it mounts. The support connection goes into the end of the card and then it has another part that sticks out an extra inch or so past the card. This makes it far too long. I had to remove two screws on my SSD cage so it could bend enough aside to even get this big thing in. Another bar extension...no way. If you do some searches for GPU supports, you'll find options much better than what XFX provides. Right now I'm using an adjustable screwdriver to prop this up until a support post arrives from order. That really is the only major blotch on this. The only other thing to note depends on how XFX handles warranty repairs on this. The rumors of the 7900 hardware being gimped from the production line are out there and if so, AMD will likely have to issue replacements which means XFX likely will have to do a recall. I've done warranty before through XFX via the 390. That was a lifetime warranty and XFX has transferred that warranty to the 580 I have. Which is awesome of them. But the process to get it and their warranty site leaves much to be desired. The fact that they sent me a bad 580 before replacing that with a new 580, didn't really give me confidence. Even more when I later figured out that the reason the 580 was bad was because someone loaded a mining bios on it which crippled it for anything 3D. XFX didn't even test it to see. XFX isn't my first choice for GPUs. I had them back in their founding days when they sold nVidia. Generally cost effective cards. That reputation hasn't changed much in my eyes. But, they do work and are solid. Just, save those receipts or for sure buy though Best Buy here which saves them for you. My warranty 580 replacement wouldn't have been possible without Best Buy saving the old receipts.

Great performance, some noise/size concerns
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great graphics card, a little bit on the larger size and can get quite loud compared to my 4070. But handles all games I’ve played at 4k high settings.

Nice new GPU
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great. Havent had any issues and does not even make much noise that I can tell. It is a bit big though so you will likely need at least a medium size case.

XFX 7900XT MERC310 Black
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome card and especially if you play the latest new titles of Call of duty. AMD GPU architecture favorites the CoD's graphical engine, I play on 1080p 360hz monitor (FireLegend) CPU 5900x 4x8Gb 3600Mhz Ram. With this set up I get low to upper 300Fps on competitive settings in M2W mostly only plying search and destroy. Also tested CoD cold war frames were in 400s also on competitive settings. What are competitive settings < = always 1080p, some normal mostly low and any special effects disabled.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs very well, AMD software is a little confusing compared to NVIDIA and you lose out on nvidia broadcast and all those features. Very big, bigger than reference card. All games automatically set to ultra and runs smooth

Solid GPU
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fans are pretty loud, but nothing unbearable. Has coil whine under certain loads, still trying to figure that out, but it’s not to bad. Other than that, great gpu if you can get it at the right price.

Best bang for your buck!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great card, easily best bang for your buck in the current GPU market. Only downside is that they haven't perfected ray tracing quite yet, but it's still impressive what this card is capable of! Works great with a 750w PSU!

Amazing card!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely amazing card. I upgraded from a 1080 and I play at 1440p, and there’s not been a game I can’t run at ultra with 60fps (and usually it’s way higher). Would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade!

Looks and runs fantastic!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great card. Runs super cool compared to reference card. Comes with bracket to help keep card from twisting from size and weight, but you need to have a case big to fit this. Very happy with my purchase.

A decent Card..
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a decent video card. Although I would have preferred to be 100 dollars less than MSRP to be a real hit for AMD, I still recommend this from the 4070 ti. some cons: The video card freezes with Metro Exodus while playing with Direct12. Sometimes I hear a bit of coil whine with certain games but is goes away as soon as the loads.
