Customers appreciate the SPEEDSTER MERC319 AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT's strong performance, high FPS, and effective cooling, frequently citing its excellent value for the price. However, some users note the card's large size as a potential drawback. While ray tracing capabilities are mentioned as a relative weakness compared to competing products, many users find the overall performance satisfactory.

With the rush on NVidia's, I thought I would give a 6900 XT a try. At this point, I'm not extremely satisfied with the performance for the cost. It does not compare to a 3090 and on Windows 11, I'm having codec issues with video constantly going Matrix in webpages for some video types. Note this doesn't happen to everything, Hold out for the NVidia in my opinion unless someone can convince me otherwise that there are ways to improve the performance and reduce video errors with current drivers and settings.

Still too expensive for a 3 year old technology. Better off saving your money for the next generation cards.

I have this paired with a Ryzen 5950X and 32gb of ddr4 3600 ram in dual channel and it screams through everything I throw at it.
I purchased this February 2021 as the tech shortage was kicking in so new cards were already hard to find. BB was pricing this card at $1499 during the time which was lower than other retail outlets were selling it for.
I managed to do a stock check on the very day that they released this card for sale so I immediately added it to my cart going through their new at the time anti-bot checkout process. The transaction went through smoothly and in a week I had my card.
Coming from a GTX 1080 Amp card this is about 250% of that card's performance. This card runs cool for me, however, I have it in a high air flow case (CM HAF 932) with all fan slots filled. I also run it on a X570 motherboard so I also have SAM enabled but performance varies depending on the game using it. Frame rates are high and game play is smooth.
The only down side is that when compared to an Nvidia card ray tracing performance is low. If you read the reviews this card trades blows with the RTX 3090 but at a much lower price. At the time of purchase there was a $500 price difference between them which I could not justify.
The other thing is power as your power supply must be able to support its draw on the PCIE rails. I run an EVGA supernova G2 1300 which is complete overkill but leaves me with overhead for a water loop in the future. If you are using a no name low output PS you should stay away from any high end GPU.
I would recommend this card without any reserve unless you can get a RTX 3090 for the same price.

Purchased this card 6 months ago at Best Buy. This card rips through all games at Ultra settings. I mainly use it for flight sim 2020 on ultra graphics. Has no trouble handling this game. I didnt pay as much as this is currently priced but while many are still waiting for graphic cards, I’m gaming current games. So to me it was worth it. It’s a large card barely fits in my midtower. I had to move a couple of fans to fit the card so make sure you measure your case before buying the card. Impressed with AMD card driver updates. They keep this card very stable. So far at 6 months it is doing great.

will not run zero dawn at all. just freezez up. tried with a brand new IBUYPOWER machine that came with the 3070 geforce in it. The geforce is a screamer and runs perfectly. this card would not even run the game at any setting, using the AMD software
this card is most likely made for mining or something else bc it is trash for games

This would was and still could be a fantastic card... However over time support for it has slowed and many game companies don't test it during alphas/betas so the gameplay on newer games isn't as consistent as other top tier cards

I already had an Nvidia rtx 3080, very good by the way, but I have to say that the AMD XFX Rx 6900xt, exceeded my expectations, I'm not a gamer and I don't need a video game card for this purpose, I needed something with quality, performance, etc. Rx6900xt is phenomenal, sensational, for me it's everything I needed.
