This card replaced a GTX 670. It was to get better performance on the older games I usually play as well as play some newer games which wouldn't even launch due to losing driver updates long ago.
I have been optimistic of AMD products after following tech news the past few years. The price/performance won me over with this GPU. According to TechPowerUp, the relative power is a 379% improvement over my old card, and was happy with the high frames I was able to get on Total War Warhammer 3. I was also finally able to play Diablo 2 Resurrected which I received as a gift last year. Unfortunately D2R constantly takes up more and more VRAM (starting around 3.5-4gb usage on start and goes up the longer the game is played) even on low graphics settings until a system crash occurs and requires a hard reset of the computer. This did not happen with my brother in this game with a GTX 760.
In addition to the graphics performance, I was also pleased with the temps. I was originally looking at a more expensive 3 fan card for better temps, but settled on this one. With a custom fan curve, the temps haven't risen into the 70s yet and can barely hear the fans over the other computer fans.
The negative is unfortunately the AMD software. D2R requires the AMD overlay for system info (gpu temp/vram/etc) since MSI Afterburner won't run on that game. The overlay randomly disappears (which I need to monitor VRAM usage to prevent a system crash), yet the Radeon Software would still show the toggle on. You create and save a profile for a fan curve or remove the zero rpm option (since I don't like 45-50c idle temp) and turn off your computer or put it to sleep and when you return, the settings will either remove your profile and set it to automatic, or turn the zero rpm option back on. What is the point of creating a profile when the AMD software will change your settings whenever the computer is powered down?
Some of the options such as clock speed changes would cause the main screen (using the display port) to go dark. The only thing to get a picture back is to ctrl+alt+del to get task manager to pop up.
Besides a potential driver issue with D2R, the user experience with the software and constantly have to fix the settings is a deal breaker for me recommending this card.
It is a great card, but the software running it ruins it for me. Unfortunately I found these issues were a regular occurrence 4 days beyond the return window, otherwise I would return it and try a 3060.

EXACTLY what I needed. I have a bit of an older PC, and I needed an upgrade to play Helldivers 2 more smoothly. Night and day difference. Had help finding the right part to my pc at the store, very friendly and professional. Part was cost effective and im very pleased with how well I can run my games now! Small flex due to this upgrade-I can walk around in Baulders Gate 3 act 3 with graphics on high with no frame drops and smooth experience!

Not the newest GPU, but definitely does what I need it to! I've only been using it for a couple of weeks but it has so far been very stable and gives me an excellent frame rate on the games I play. Recommended if you want to game but can't afford a really high end card.

Upgraded from a RX 480 and have been blown away by the improvements in performance. The Best Buy staff was incredibly helpful fulfilling my online order.

Can run all games smoothly in 1080p without ray tracing. Able to handle most game in 2K too, but there are better options. Not a bad gpu nor very good. Only buy when you don't care about Ray tracing and you want brand new budget gpu that haven't done any cryptomining.

Gives me 1080p, over 100fps in all current AAA titles, Running Rust at 165-200fps,
After turning on AFMF.
I recommend the card if you are one of those players that would like to play at stable 60-100fps. 1080p triple A titles.
But! if you could save just another 100-150 dollars, you could be getting something like the 6750xt or even the 6800-6800xt, which is a night and day difference.
