Bought this printer for my son to start getting into the world of 3D printing. The printer is nice and works well. Softwear is a little hard to use and so far we haven’t figured out if you can use third party sowtwear or not.

I got this printer for building parts for electronics. primarily due to the price and ease of use. The prints are fair, at least for my useage, with size ranging down to .1mm thick. Right now, i am using the 4mm nozzle, without any plans to upgrade to the 3mm nozzle. At first, there was some trouble with the prints sticking to the plate, causing the nozzle to have a block or to just goob up near the tip. once i sprayed some hair spray on the bed, it stuck like glue. fortunately, it came with a paint scraper so i was able to get it off the bed with some..."gentle persuasion". after over 20 prints, it is still ticking along just fine, with no issues other than the afformentioned filiment no sticking.
While not able to print extremely large prints or excessively detailed prints, it does a good job for someone like myself who is a hobbiest, and priced well enough to allow a beginner easy access to a decent 3D printer.

I have been using this printer for about a week... I have used different apps/programs to design and print the models...for the actual printing the xyzware has been the most consistent with no failed prints. There have been a few failed prints along the way, but all of them were through other apps. I will make an additional review an a couple weeks.

Very Cool Machine

This Machine is very cool- It takes a little adjusting to get solid prints every time, but once the user gets too know the machine- solid prints on every print is possible. One very important key is too use a light adhesive, (glue stick) this will keep the print from warping which can occur quite easily if adhesive is not used. It did a couple of prints right out of the box and then started to have some issues that needed to be adjusted on the printer and a couple were something I needed too adjust on my model(s)- it is important too understand how the printer works so your models are printer friendly. This machine has been very consistent as long as I follow a few rules too its operation.

Right off the bat the table wouldn't calibrate. The menu actually said to contact support. The filament head only worked properly once then it stopped. The software to create projects didn't transfer to the machine properly. Customer support was not open over the holidays so I just took it back. Oh and the directions were in broken English

Experienced fan failure on the extrusion cartridge

Very happy with the machine to start with, solid prints every time until the fan on the extrusion cartridge broke and is now missing a fan blade. Now the printer is so loud I can't use it. XYZ refuses to fix the problem under warranty they say that I need to return it to the retailer and get an exchange. I will probably be sending it back if I can't get the manufacturer to stand behind their product.
