Projector works great! Had issues with shipping/damages so had to send it back. Also, tip is to unlock internet if it’s private so screencast could work. Support was not helpful and advised returning.

Having shopped this out quite a bit - I settled on this unit because of the price & higher Lumens than others at the same price. It had features I did not think I would need, but did at the very first use (rear projection image flip). It's been easy to set up and use with the help of a 13 year old. Warning - I did discover that NetFlix, Hulu and Prime have all learned how to detect this and will stop the projection. But - those still all work on a laptop. Will try an Ipad and maybe an android phone ( I think I have one around)

The setup process of this projector was simple, and it only took me a few minutes to complete. The projector has a good resolution, and the sound effects are exceptional, it feels like I have a mini theater in my own home. The projector comes with numerous features and connection options which I like. I think it is a good choice and I am pleased with it.

First of all you need to realize this is not a multi-thousand dollar Epson laser projector. With that said, what you are getting is a very capable budget projector that has a lot of high-end features. The Buffalo Pro U10 projector comes in a nice carrying case that holds the unit, cables and remote. The build is plastic and the unit resembles robot eyes when viewed from the front. The plug is the old-school computer plug, no transformers or wall warts here. The remote controls all the functions of the projector and there are buttons on the top to navigate but not for volume. I was a little disappointed to see that two AAA batteries were not included for the remote. Also, unlike several other Yaber models, the U10 does not include a projection screen, however, according to the instructions, sending them an email will get you a free one. In a quiet room you will hear the cooling fan, it is a bit loud however, with audio playing it really does become un-noticeable. There are two metal bars used as feet and they have screw holes under rubber caps if you want to mount the projector to the ceiling if you buy a mount. I would think you could mount it with a few eye hooks as well if you want to be handy. Unfortunately, there is no height adjustments so if your table or stand isn’t high enough you have to grab a few books. Connectivity: There are two HDMI ports, two USB A ports,VGA and an RCA input and headphone jack. The HDMI ports are a little tight and I had to jiggle the plugs to get things plugged in. The U10 also connects to W-Fi for Apple screen mirroring Miracast for Android. There is a built-in speaker that works but not something you would want to watch a feature film with. You can also connect it to external speakers via Bluetooth or if your sound bar has a 3.5mm line-in you can use the headphone jack. Using the U10 projector is straightforward, connect your device and select your input. I especially like the USB connectivity. The U10 recognizes thumb and external SSD drives that are formatted with exFAT allowing you to play larger media files directly from the USB drive. This is definitely a plus since my televisions only recognize fat32 which is limited to file size. The file selection is excellent and covers most current media files including .mov, .mov, mp4, .avi, and .flv. If your USB drive has a folder full of videos, this will play them one after the other until you press stop. Another plus is this projector recognizes and plays Microsoft office files so you can put your PowerPoint on a flash drive and control your meeting directly from the projector - a real time saver. Note, you can not connect a keyboard or mouse via Bluetooth but there is no mention of connecting one via USB. As far as the picture goes, I was impressed. I have about a 75 inch picture size with the unit just over eight feet away from the wall. I found the projector to be bright enough to work in the daytime but wouldn’t expect a great image if competing with direct sunlight. The digital keystone correction is amazing for a model of this price and worked flawlessly however, you can only adjust when you’re in the menu system, you can not adjust while viewing your source video. You adjust each corner either up and down or left and right. Tip here is to start with the corner that is the furthest out since your only movement to start with is to move in and down. From here move to the rest of the corners to get your picture square. One thing I noticed with using the corner correction is you get a slight ring or frame around the edge of the picture. This is nothing to worry about and not noticeable once you get into the movies or video you are viewing. There are image adjustment settings to fine tune the picture as well as several presets. This also applies to audio but as I said, you will be best served by connecting external speakers. I was able to connect the U10 to my network and use Apple screen mirroring but there was significant lag when trying to view a YouTube video. My setup is a connected fire stick and Bluetooth connection to my sound bar. It is important to note that with my Fire Stick I had to change the sound output from automatic to PCM for the audio to travel through the HDMI port. Regarding the network, you are supposed to be able to update firmware via the network as well as by using a USB drive. I was not able to connect to the firmware site using the local option as it didn’t recognize the network. Not sure if this could have been due to there not being an update available or a glitch. Overall, I am really impressed with the Buffalo U10 Pro and give it 5 stars. The USB options and file formats alone make it worth the price. Is it perfect? No, but the feature set and full HD image quality make it a must buy. Yes, I highly recommend it.

I recently purchased the U10 LCD projector, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. The picture quality is outstanding, providing crisp and vivid visuals even in well-lit rooms. Its native resolution of 1080p ensures sharpness and clarity, making movie nights and presentations and absolute delight.

Overall, this projector offers excellent value for its price. It's suitable for everyday use, as it works effortlessly out of the box and provides many features typically found in more expensive models, but without the added complexities. I am particularly impressed with its connectivity options and overall performance.

I got my new Yaber Pro U10 projector a few days ago and I have been very impressed thus far. Outside of a sound issue, which I’ll describe in a moment, this thing is incredible for the price. I have an Epson Projector I got about 5 years ago on sale. This projector costs half what I paid for my Epson and the picture is every bit as good. The sound issue I had was pretty much I hooked up my Blue Ray player and no sound. Next I hooked up my Roku and no sound. I was sure there was a speaker in there! The user guide was useless to me to help troubleshoot so I went to the internet. There I found that due to some sort of copyright issue this projector can’t process Dolby Stereo. So I just changed my setting from Dolby to DTS and all was fine. You can hook up a sound bar and play Dolby or whatever you prefer. Just not on the built in speaker. Not a big deal at all, but annoying when you don’t get why your speaker isn’t working! Beyond that one minor issue I have no complaints. The value of this projector is fantastic. The picture is great. It’s bright enough to create a decent picture during the day which was a nice surprise. Of course at night is when it really shines. It’s also quite portable as it is very light and comes with a little carrying case. The fans might be a bit on the loud side. But usually when I have the projector on its movie or game night and the volume tends to be loud anyways. The manual focus ring works well. You also have decent options to square the picture up if the projector is set up at an angle with its 4 point keystone correction tool. It has a headphone jack, 2 USB (for playing media), 2 HDMI ports and an unexpected VGA port and old school A/V jack. Now some features that my more expensive model doesn’t offer. I can mirror my android phone (IOS compatible as well) to it quite easily. It’s very responsive and overall I was impressed with this feature. There is a digital zoom feature if you want to reduce the image size and sharpen it up. You can also play music, videos, pictures or office suite files via USB ports. It was pretty cool looking at old pictures of my 220 gallon discus tank projected across the wall in full HD glory. Overall I am very impressed with the quality of picture for the price point. For some it may be too loud, but everything else is solid with this projector. If they were looking for a projector near this price range, I would absolutely recommend this projector to a friend.

This is great, I simply cannot find a more option for a projector. With great portability, thanks to the little weight, can be used at home and outside. From a performance point of view, it has the perfect combination of image, sound, and connectivity with all types of devices. The picture was nice and clear. I used the projector on a couple of surfaces but even projected directly on a white wall the outcome is great. It’s explained by an LCD display and a 1920 x 1080p resolution. Now, what has been the most impressive is how easy you can use the projector with all the technology at home. I used the laptop for presentations directly with an HDMI cable. I used a pendrive to reproduce videos directly from the USG port. But the easiest has been directly reproducing wireless from my phone or tablet with the android smart view functionality. In fact, the Bluetooth connectivity allows connecting the projector not only to the reproduction device but also to the wireless sound bar and speakers that I have at home. You can not ask for more than a full cinema experience without the wires in the middle. Final elements that convinced me: the entire functioning can be controlled by a super light remote also included. There is also a setup function that would serve to adjust the image to any type of adjustment that could be required based on the physical placement of your projector. A very silent functioning completes the work. And the carrying case is useful and protective against the dust. Only one item that I see as a pro and a con at the same time. The projector is very compact and square but it lacks a leg as an adjuster in weight. Consider placing books or something below if the projection is direct from a table. Great and highly recommended.
