Pretty good for the price. Wish it has a way to adjust the tilt angle of the projector. Only option is flat.

I was super stoked to get this projector as the last one I used cost 4 times as much and was good for presentations and not so much for movies. Out of the box I was happy to find a nice protective case and all the cords needed for basic setup. Also the unit was surprisingly light at just under 5 pounds, and has a sturdy feel which I think is because of the metal case surrounding all the "magic" inside. Starting in "old school mode," I plugged it into my laptop with the included HDMI cable then the power cord to the wall. The set up menu appears and is easy to navigate but I just wanted to see a pretty picture so onward and a pretty picture is what I got. Once I fine tuned the focus (a simple manual adjustment using a wheel just above the lens), I was pleasantly suppressed at the sharpness and vividness of the image. A few clicks and I was watching the beginning of a series of movie clips I had set aside for this purpose and I was swept away by the image quality. Bright colors, crisp definition and with a 1000/1 contrast ratio blacks were quite rich and pleasing. As for the included speaker it is adequate but not what I will use for any long cinematic endeavor but with the two way blue tooth connecting to a speaker is easy and upgrades the sound quality dramatically. For me this is how I will mainly use it for now as we just completed a deck and movie night outside is scheduled for Friday and Sunday evenings until winter! My only complaint is that there is no front height adjustment. This isn't a huge deal due to the very high angle of correction the keystone adjustment allows for. I am actually impressed again as the image is super sharp even at full correction. The legs also help with cooling but I still would prefer to have built in adjustment for the few times that geometry dictates a change in angle of the unit its self. All in all this is a fantastic value. Action in 5 .... 4 ..... 3 .....2.....

    Portable with IOS Casting

The Yaber Pro U10 Projector is a very light weight and portable 1080p projector. It comes with a very nice carrying case to make transporting the projector even easier. The U10 has multiple ports and accepts wireless video input from Miracast and IOS casting, hdmi, and USB disk input mode. My favorite is wireless IOS casting. Just bring your Iphone, Ipad, or MAC computer, connect both devices to the same network and anything appearing on your Apple product will be projected by the U10 Projector. This is extremely useful when making presentations or just when you want to watch movies on a large screen. Picture and sound quality are good and are viewable even in a fairly well lit room. Movies look great on a large screen although the contrast and color saturation are not as good as a quality 1080p hdtv. The accompanying wireless remote is easy to use and controls all functions of the U10. In summary, I highly recommend the U10 Projector for anyone looking for a light weight and portable projector that has multiple video input sources and can be used in fairly well lit area.

Nice, but could use an audio output

I would give it 5 stars if it had a fiber optic audio output. The speaker is adequate for a small room, but for a true "theater" like experience, get an audio extractor ($50). It is bright enough to use during the day and sharp at large screen sizes. I use a cheap 150" HD fabric screen and get great results. This is a nice unit to set up in the back yard for a family movie night.

Packaging was sturdy and the box will serve well for long term storage, the travel case will work great for trips. Unpacking was quick and easy. One out of the box, the projector shipped inside the travel case which is zip closure and has a side storage area for the cables, remote, etc. Set up could not have been simpler. I dropped 2 AAA batteries into the remote, set the projector on the table, plugged in the power cord, hooked up to my Blu-ray and powered up. Selected source, focus the picture and… done. 5 minutes after opening the box I was watching crystal clear HD video 10 feet wide on the wall of my living room. The built-in speakers aren’t bad, but I’d say hooking up to a set of powered speakers using the audio out or Bluetooth would be an easy fix if you want more dynamic range. The fan is a bit loud, not terrible and you tune it out after a minute or two. I fixed that minor issue by pairing to my over the ear BT headphones and the experience was just about perfect – especially at the price point. All things considered, in my opinion, the quality of picture, quality of sound, portability, and price make this a great projector for travel or for permanent installation.

When I first got this projector, as I was unwrapping it, I thought, "hey wouldn't it be great if there were a case for this?" And sure enough, it comes with a great carrying case, and there's a divider so you have a place to stuff the cables. I got this for its portability. I like to set up a small movie theater when camping with friends, so I wanted to see how well this would work. The case is awesome. As a bonus, it uses a C13 power cord (like a PC) so you don't have to lug around or keep track of a power brick. It has two USB ports, two HDMI ports, and a VGA port so you have all sorts of compatibility. It uses miracast for the wireless connection, so it works great with my Windows laptops, but you'd need to get some kind of miracast app for Android. I don't know how it works with macs or iphones. The bluetooth connectivity is a little weird -- it can act as a bluetooth speaker (but not the most awesome sound) or it can pair and send sound to bluetooth speakers. The picture is good -- the better your screen, the better the picture. Don't expect awesome if you're projecting onto a wall! The keystone correction is great. You have control over all four corners, so I can always get my picture squared up nicely.

The Yaber – Pro U10 LCD Projector is a very capable unit with some very strong specifications for its price point. Other more expensive projectors will have capabilities that are stronger in some areas such as contrast ratio, height adjustment feet, better speakers and double the warranty timeframe et al. The Yaber does have equality with the more expensive projectors in terms of its full HD 1080p specification. If you are going to be a heavier user of this device, the ‘light source’ life may be important to you. In this area the Yader has 4 times the ‘life source’ hours of much more expensive projectors – so that is great. This projector has brackets for feet which also allow mounting to a ceiling if you want that type of installation. I tried the unit with HDMI and it worked nicely with my laptop. I also used the Miracast option to mirror my Android cell phone and it worked flawlessly – also supports iPhone’s IOS. Tried the projector from 4 feet and 7 feet and it operated really well. Crisp colors and easy to focus with the focus adjustment knob. The speakers are adequate and it is a benefit to have onboard speakers. Tried a USB disk with music and noticed MP3 plays but MA4 (Windows format) was not recognized by the projector’s software. The Bluetooth is upgraded to bi-directional Bluetooth which is a newer feature that allows a user to listen to audio files for example by using Bluetooth headphones and to use their digital audio player as a Bluetooth enabled peripheral; that way you can stream music from a computer or a smartphone. I did test the use of an external Bluetooth speaker and worked very well and provided better sound than the onboard speakers. This unit comes with a handy remote control or you can use the controls on top of the unit. An excellent user guide is supplied. You’ll find it convenient for exploring all the features such as DVD player connection and Bluetooth functions. The unit is supplied with an HDMI cable, power cable and composite video cable (3.5 mm jack to 3 RCA jacks). I did notice that support is provided via an email to [email protected]. Also in the manual it is mentioned that if you have some problems like dust on the lens, they will send you a video to correct the problem – a small kit to facilitate cleaning is included. All in all I found this to be a well designed projector with excellent features at an affordable price and very well constructed. I would highly recommend it.

The Buffalo Pro U10 projector has enough contrast ratio and bright image that we can watch it without requiring a dark room like my other projector. The picture is very good for the price. The adjustments for focus and keystone correction work well to provide a good quality image with full 1080P video. I would like the image size to be a little larger for the distance from the screen or have a zoom that will make the image larger and not just smaller. With that said, the features of this projector are really good. The input selections are great. There are two HDMI inputs. The WiFi works well with my iPhone to play movies and videos or just show my screen larger. The Bluetooth sound is excellent working with my sound bar. I haven't tried Bluetooth the other directions, though. It would be nice if there was a built-in leg at the front of the projector that could be pulled out to move the image up on the screen instead of having to use a stand or just a stack of something. This projector does not get too hot, either, when in use. I am very pleased with the quality of the case and components. The remote is great and works well. It would be nice it is could start up with going through the home menu each time but it's not really a big deal.

This was a big upgrade from the portable projector we had previously mounted to our bedroom ceiling. We love to keep an entire wall clear for gaming and move nights and were ready for an upgrade in clarity. This projector delivered big time. It had a narrower focus though which I wish I had tested out before mounting it in the same position as the last one because the new picture is smaller. However the increase in clarity and focus is a huge win. We are able to watch things with subtitles now that were a little blurry and hard to read before. Make sure you have a universal projector mount though. This one requires the kind that has four screws in the corners instead of one single central mount. Their is only one focus dial and the rest of the picture adjustment is done digitally which I find amazing and convenient. Use the arrow and center button keys to adjust all four corners of the screen on the X and Y axis! The only thing I knock a star off for is the noise. It’s a beefier unit with a bright lamp so of course there will be fan noise, but it’s loud enough to distract from the screen when it’s six feet above our heads. It’s also very heavy so I’m second guessing some of my ceiling mount solutions. Overall I’m very happy with it. We use it about 14 feet away from the wall with crystal clarity and I’m thinking of moving it backwards for a bigger picture!

My husband gave this to me as a gift. He wrote his review WAY too soon, giving it 4 stars. After two months of use, there is a circular burnout in the images. I contacted support three days ago, and they haven't even bothered to acknowledge I contacted them. Buyer be ware!!! I do not recommend this item or company
