This is by definition a VideoGame. Balanced and engaging story. Good progression and likable characters. Turn Based combat adapted to modern day fighting styles, very New. I LOVE it!
Best Game to explore turn based combat for audiences that steer away from RPGs (Myself).
Best played at 60FPS. This game is like Final Fantasy but with modern dialogue. And soap opera, NETFLIX-series attention grasp. Enjoyable in a way thats completly non-stressful on the player. Its not intimidatingly over complex. Game designers take note on this Masterpiece from SEGA. Not all gamers consider stress inducing games enjoyable. I always wonder why stress-heavy games is considered a feature in game design. Even if so, YAKUZA Like A Dragon is Balanced to perfection!

You could spend hundreds of hours playing this, between its lengthily campaign and myriad side-quests. It’s a great value at the discounted price Best Buy offers it for.

Game already comes in a steelbook and another one is actual thrown in which is why I love best buy for games. Its a great game especially for rpg lovers and anime fans. The story is engaging and the side quests can be HILARIOUS. The fighting is now down as turn based instead of the previous games button mashing and honestly I like it more this way.

This is my first Yakuza game i absolutely love it. Im a big fan of the combat and the humor the game gives you. The main story is also keeping glued to my TV. I put 19 hours in 3 days so ive been playing it pretty heavily. Overall a great game.

My first Yakuza game, and wow. Still have yet to finish but man is it packed with content. I love the characters, I love the story. The story is nothing wild and cinematic but it is pure comedic class. Comedic yet, enlightening. Satirical yet serious when needs to be.
The world is beautiful. It feels like you’re literally in Japan. These places are based on real districts in Tokyo and they nail it.
I was skeptical about the turn based combat but honestly it’s lots of fun! The moves are funny and can be visually pleasing yet the battles can get intense!

Yakuza: Like a Dragon delivers a fresh take on the series, blending gritty crime drama with turn-based RPG elements. Ichiban Kasuga's journey is a wild ride through the vibrant streets of Yokohama, featuring engaging combat, a compelling narrative, and quirky side activities. A thrilling and hilarious addition to the Yakuza saga.

Havent actually downloaded the game yet but heard many fun things like the humor, the side quests, and the different kinds of activities you can participate in. I was also pleasantly surprised that this was a steelbook and I am a huge steelbook fan. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys the Yakuza games or Japanese games get this on sale price!

This is probably the most fun I've had with a turn based jrpg. The combat is satisfying and requires you to react in real time for optimal damage and defense. Along with the surprisingly serious story, there's some ridiculous moments and humor that somehow work. There's so much to do whether it be all the mini games, side stories, or learning about your party. It's got everything you'd want and more.

Got me into Yakuza. Never really got into the games before this one, they were all beat em ups, this one is a turn based rpg. It feels like a rpg for grownups, most of the characters are older and I appreciate being able to not play as an angsty teen/20 something once in a while. Game overall was cinematic heavy. But the gameplay is all great.

If you love the Yakuza franchise, you'll love this one too even though it is slightly different from the previous ones in which this is like a turn based JRPG style game as opposed to the Beat-em-up style. Best Buy is currently offering two different steelbooks with this version too. I highly recommend it!

This was my first yakuza game, and it might be my favorite JRPG in recent years. Just a fantastic game. It's a good starting point for those new to the series, and uses a new turn based battle system as opposed to the brawler style of the previous games.

I almost want to give it 3 stars. They keep releasing yakuza games. They are fun! However all they do is copy and paste the people, environment, whilst sprinkling in new faces, activities, etc. What totally killed the game for me was the new rpg fighting style. Years of different fighting styles, upgrading with skills and combos, you now are forced to take turns. You hit them once and hope it goes well, they hit you, and whoever is left standing obviously wins. This slowed down the game by far. I was 4-5 hours into the story. Loved the story, but when I got other teammates it dragged the fighting out longer, and I just got burned out. I was fighting like 10 guys and some times these battles takes 5 plus minutes. This adds up when you fight all the time, even in the street if you run across thugs it forces you. I’d rather watch someone play it. It’s not for me. Totally hated the new rpg element and want the old style back. Many like it but I don’t. Now they may permanently implement this in their next installments. Which I won’t buy. I ended up watching a real walkthrough online. Like a long 24 hour movie and I fast forwarded through the fights, the story and all the normal stuff was amazing and great. The plot was easy, and I saw the twists from a mile away. Still the story was good.

I was a bit apprehensive about the combat system changing for this one. My doubts were quickly dismissed once I saw just how beautiful this game looked. The combat system always stayed fresh for me and the story was amazing. Best game of 2020 by far.

Have a little under 30 hours at this moment but it's so good. Story, characters and even the new RPG battle system is great. Hopefully we get the rest of Yakuza series but fans of Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1/2, and newcomers should definitely check it out!

Haven’t clocked too many hours into this as my backlog is very large, but from what I played, it lived up to the Yakuza series greatness, and turn based combat is very welcomed. Still the same zany humor and good story telling!

Overall this is a fun game but it could use some improvements. The leveling up your characters is a bit slow once you start fighting higher level characters. Plus the job types are a bit confusing and would literally take an entire eternity to level up multiple jobs. But this is a fun game and has a lot of game play hours. I have not finished the game yet.

A surprisingly addictive game then I thought it would be.While I haven't been a fan of turn base games for a while this actually brought back that enjoyment with both the story and overall entertainment value it gave. Also getting the game for such a price with a steelbook was amazing too.Overall a great addition to the Yakuza series franchise and one many gamers should be looking into as well.

As someone that is new to Yakuza games, I wasnt exactly sure what to expect. After several hours of playtime I can honestly say that I am having a ton of fun with this one. Some of the game mehcanics may feel dated compared to some modern open world games, but dont let this deter you. I just finished AC Valhalla before starting this one, so it takes a little adjusting, but once you get going, this game has enough charm to make you forget about any shortcomings. The story has been very engaging thus far, and I love very suble nods to Shenmue that paved way before this. I definitely plan to finish this one, as the story and likeable characters has really held my attention so far.

Holiday game sale I bought it for myself. It came with a free steelbook which is nice. Yakuza games are typically brawlers but this game is an RPG. I was surprised how it works well. Great buy.
