I previously owned the Yale nest smart lock. But I decided to take the HomeKit route so I sold it and found this one . This one fills all my needs. Being able to command the lock with Siri and also have the option to unlock it via proximity is awesome. Since it comes with August integrated technology it can open up the lock once you get to your house. Or you can just do it manually as well :)

Very easy to install. I had to adjust my door so that the lock would line up enough to work though.

HomeKit integration is great! When used with an Apple Watch its even slicker.

This lock is easy to install and you can even watch a video on how to install it if you need it.

It was easy to install. There were many videos. My grandpa knows how to use it so that's a plus.

It really works great, and has a lot of functionality, I highly recommend it!

I really like this lock. I love not having to have a key and being able to lock with a swipe of my hand on the panel and it locks. The Auto Unlock feature is fantastic. When I get home and walk up to the door it unlocks automatically. It's also nice to have separate codes for people so I know who is unlocking the door. Really happy with the lock, and the August app works great and has some nice features.

This lock is very aesthetically pleasing, it functions as it should… Except for the door sense technology. That’s the only thing holding it back from getting five stars. It can’t really tell whether my door is opened or closed all that well.

I did not have any issues installing or setting up this lock and it serves its purpose well.

We love that we can control this with our phones and that it is so easy to set up.

I thought I was really going to like this lock. It was easy to set up and can use multiple codes for different people. However, there is no way to tell which code is used to unlock the door.
