This was a replacement door lock so the installation was very easy. The programming is a little confusing, and I am a computer programmer, but it all worked in the end. A pleasure to use and will come in handy when power is out and the garage door doesn't work.

I didn't really like the lock so I returned it. I wasn't able to easily switch the cylinder from the house deadbolt so it would have had to been rekeyed.

I would recommend this. After buying it though, I found they have blue tooth options. But Id you don't want Bluetooth, it's great.

QUALITY LOCK FOR UNDER 100.00. COMPARABLE TO LOCKS TWICE IT'S PRICE.ONLY CONCERN IS IT CAME IN A GENERIC BOX , SO I WONDER IF IT'S REFURBISHED. WORKS GOOD THOUGH

This does not work with the Zwave technology UNLESS you purchase a separate radio component which is $125. I don't see that Best Buy even sells this part. So this may work ok as just a lock but it is not until you get to step 6 in installation that you realize it won't work with your smart hub. I'm not sure this is Best Buy's fault. The product description is the same on the manufacturer's site. It is just plain misleading and I can't support a brand that misleads customers in their product description. I will go for a different brand.

BEWARE - this lock will not connect with Z-Wave home controllers without one BIG component that it does not come with...a $200 rf module! The lock is great, easy install for a novice DIY homeowner, but am very disappointed I am unable to control it remotely through my SmartThings hub...and I'm not spending another $200 to make that happen. Knew the price was too good to be true...
