Great sounding bass especially the low frequencies. no problems yet, had it for 4 months now even tho I like playing it high to hear that bass.

I have an older all in one system and it only had a 6" and when it came to bass it was not wolfing but now with my new 10" the ladies say batabing bam booooooom. Its like its all new again. The sound is now life like and what a price from Best Buy what more can I say, they are the Best.

Can't beat the quality of Yamaha. I'm still experimenting with the volume so it sounds well blended and not from a seperate speaker but mostly satisfied with movie and music listening.

Sounds very good. Hi-Lo cross-x switch could easily have been made variable. Easy setup and adjustment. I run mine from sub out on Vizio sound bar. Versatile hook-up with both RCA L/R inputs and L/R high power speaker inputs. Plenty of power for my 16x20 living room. Makes a huge difference on movies and music. Makes all TV programs sound better. Add a 2nd one for larger rooms.

I bought this for my dorm room for music, movies, and video games. I ran it through a set up I had and it works great. It hits hard and is very clear.

I bought this unit to replace the original sub-woofer for my Yamaha surround-sound home theater system. This particular unit has more control and wiring options and the bass response is much deeper than the original. By plugging the power cord into the back of my receiver, the sub-woofer automatically is powered on or off through the remote control. This has been a great investment and is easy to install and use.

First of all, please note that the subwoofer is being used for a home stereo system and not at all for an entertainment surround sound. The subwoofer works good especially considering the price. It is being used in a small room but in conjunction with higher end audio equipment and speakers. The previous subwoofer I had was much more powerful and costly but had to be replaced. Seeing as the room the system resides in now is smaller, I opted to find a more cost effective subwoofer. The only complaint I have is that the subwoofer itself did not work when hooked up using the speaker wire inputs. I had to use a separate RCA bypass out on the pre-amp and into the RCA input on the subwoofer.

I needed to add a subwoofer to my existing Yamaha stereo speakers. They are powered by a tube type preamp and a solid state 50-watt amplifier. It sounds great, looks great and it was shipped to me when I expected. With the sub-woofer addition, my system is complete. Great value too!

This a really great subwoofer for the price I paid. It has a really good base to it and I hardly have to turn the volume up on it before it it shaking things on the wall. I keep it around 3-4 and sounds the best. Yamaha is the best!!

I hooked it up to a Sony receiver and it sounds great.

It's easy to setup and easy to use. It instantly enhanced my home theater. Now I have the movie theater sound that I wanted.

We are slowly putting our sound system and this is a piece that we are very happy about great sound and very easy to hook up.

A change in furnishings required a subwoofer that was smaller than our 12 inch model that had recently stopped functioning. During my shopping processes I discovered the 10 inch Yamaha that measures relatively smaller than others of the same class. It offers more than enough performance for our TV viewing. We have the volume control set at less than 50% so as not to rattle things in the room. An all around good purchase that didn't bust the bank.

Sounds great. Got this on one side and Yamaha 8 on other. Nice bottom end.

I have been using the Yamaha 10" 100W Powered Subwoofer for about three weeks so far. The Subwoofer has been functioning well. No complaints.

I've had this for almost 6 months now and I love it! I like the fact that you can hook it up via RCA for a 5.1+ receiver and with the speaker wire runthrough. It sounds great with music and is AMAZING for movies. I've been into sound systems for a while and this definitely meets my standard of approval.
