Q: Does this subwoofer come with a RCA jack?
A: yes, it does.
A: undefined
Q: Does the power button have to be on at all times
A: Yes it does in order to work
Q: Can this be used for a kick bass?
A: If you use this as a kick bass, you will surely blow it up. Get an amplifier and speaker system made to reproduce the consistent thumping you want to reproduce. But if you want a great subwoofer for a home theatre for a small amount of money, you can’t beat it. ( pun intended).
A: Yes it uses rca connectors and easy to hook up
A: The sound bar needs to have an output for a Subwoofer for it to work and it doesn’t include a sub cable, but B.B. will sell you one for about 15 bucks.
Q: does it work with onkyo hr t120 receiver
A: I am not familiar with the receiver you listed, but there are a couple of ways to connect this subwoofer to many different kinds of receivers. First Approach: If your receiver has an output called sub or sub-woofer, with a RCA connector, you can use a subwoofer cable or RCA cable to directly connect the receiver and the subwoofer. If your receiver does not have that connector, it may still be possible to connect it to the subwoofer. Second Approach: Run the speaker cable from the receiver to the subwoofer and then attach a speaker cable from the subwoofer to the speaker. Doing this for the left and right channels, making sure you connect the positives (red) and negatives (black) terminals to match how you have them connected already to the speakers. This is just the basic idea, the user manual goes into more details for getting the subwoofer connected to receivers. HTH.
