    It's a nice piece little pricey I am other than that very pleased I wanted something to power large speakers you can hook an exsternal amplifier to zone and get all effects from tv plus you get theater sound

    I would recommend this to a friend

    I have used various Yamaha receivers for decades I am upgrading from a RX-V863 (which I upgraded to for 1080p) to use with 4k OLED TV does not have multichannel input which I used on my RX-V863 for SACD

  • Loud popping noises

    The machine worked nicely for about two years. Now, after being on for a while, it creates loud popping noises that go from one speaker to the next. Firmware update did not solve the problem. $900 to replace it, so I will try having it serviced.
