This is an amp that is very happy switching and delivering Cable + Blu-Ray + Game Console + Streaming Services + Internet radio + Satellite Audio + Bluetooth from your phone, all in a multi-room system that can deliver the same audio to all zones or split them, allowing different parts of the family to be gaming and listening to music simultaneously. Plus simple setup and infinitely tweak-able settings via logical on-screen and remote controls, and 4K-ready via firmware update. One month in, all works as promised and makes this device a total winner in terms of bang for your buck.

This is my second Yamaha receiver. I needed this one to pass 4 K content. It has all of the bells and whistles !!!!

Looks good and sounds good! Easy setup. App works perfect. Love the dialog lift and the picture looks better than the Yamaha receiver that was replaced.

This is the first time I have a receiver and I read a lot about the best brands and I can say that I can't compare another one but Yamaha is very good. My TV is a Samsung 4K and I can see a perfect resolution. I think it was a good purchase.

Great receiver!!! I had the old 1000 model and replaced with the 1050. The Yamaha is the best sounding and easiest to use in my opinion.

Easy to set up and sound is clean, clear, i have no problems with this receiver at all for now, will update after 5 month used it, because I've had Onkyo and Denon they still working after 8 year.

I had trouble with another brand being able to get 7.1 audio from a 4K source. This one works perfect. Sounds great in my 12X18 HT.

This receiver has so much power, i can only put it 25% up, before others complain. Lots of options and Bluetooth. Awesome.

I didn't think I upgraded after spending the money. I returned it for the Onkyo competitive model. The Onkyo sounded much better. I am all about the sound quality over any features. The Yamaha worked well though.

I got this as an open box clearance item. It didn't have the remote but since it has an app to download I don't mind. Setup was a breeze and it sounds amazing. I use it mostly for watching movies and I am blown away by the immersive soundstage with everything I have watched. AirPlay works flawlessly and the Sirius radio is great. I would definitely recommend this receiver.

From initial contact at the store, to online help and geek squad service, I can only describe this transaction as a 9.9 out of ten. Nothing is a ten.
