Great sound and easy to use. It has bluetooth but will not work with some Andoid devices. Great for surround.

I have a large older plasma tv that had a fantastic picture but the sound was going out, rather than spend big $ for a new one I chose to purchase this A/V receiver and it works great, I have even better sound than before (now I have surround sound). It was inexpensive and works great. It also has multiple HDMI inputs so I no longer have to switch the cable for all of my different devices (TV only has 1 HDMI input).

The sales person was very helpful. The ordering and delivery went great. The amplifier is working great and we are glad to have it.

It's a good receiver, which supports already Dolby vision (firmware update available from Yamaha's website). Great sound quality, it comes with an auto calibrating mic. It supports all the HD audio formats, except dolby atmos and dtsx, which was fine for me as I dont have ceiling speakers. Only thing that I didn't like is that it doesn't support standby passthrough of signals (meaning it has to be on all the time to pass signals). This is critical for me, as I don't want to wake up people on my house, so I need a receiver that you can turn off but it can still pass the signals to the TV to watch from the tv speakers. If you want this feature you have to fork more $$ and go for the next model up, which sucks, because Sony's new STR-DH590 has this, and is also at the same level of price and features. Bad Yamaha...

Everything sounds good out of it. Easy and fast to hook up.

Set this up as a classroom amp, only complaint is setup directions were not straightforward and the blue-ray takes over all channels when it is on

This receiver is my first ever home theatre system. I had sound bar but it stop working. I pare it with couple of Polk T50 speaker and a T30 for center channel. It's produce very good sound. Got it before super bowl and got very good deal on the price.

I owned a older model that worked great. I upgraded to this receiver to pass 4k video AND HDR. My old receiver passed 4k video but not HDR. This unit has good power, and works with newer 4k tv's. Hard to beat thus receiver in this price range. My old receiver still works great so I'm sure this will last as well.

Took this home and hooked it up. Of course I needed my son to hook it up for me. We have watched quite a few movies with it and it works just like we expected it to. I have no complaints. Sounds really good and works with the other things we have a hook up to.
