This my second Yamaha receiver purchase. I have had great luck with tthem

Connected Several Rooms of Speakers to this and the sound quality is Excellent. I cannot believe how crisp it is even at higher volumes. Bluetooth Range is above average, and the number of ports makes it very versatile. I recommend.

This an upgrade from a Sony that I could never get to sound as clear as I would like. The auto-calibration on this worked fine and I am enjoying a much improved experience with both movies and music. The sound just seems more full and defined.

Upgraded from previous Yamaha Amp about 15 years old. Setup was simple especially with included microphone to automatically set speakers for surround. HDMI inputs and out to TV as well as RCA input for old VCR and Wii.

I was able to find an open box item and am 100% satisfied with the receiver. I am using 2 fronts speaker sand 2 speakers for the back for the surround sound. While playing God of War, I was shock when i heard voices coming from behind me. I was able to hook up the receiver with a Logitech universal remote.

This product is really productive and does the job.

Upgrade from our 1st receiver better sound. AAA+++

We purchased this receiver to use with Bose cube speakers we already owned. We use it for movie sound with the tv and a disc changer for listening in the house and outside on the patio.

Purchased to use with a projector unit. The HDMI remote switching is great the auto setup for the speakers was easy to use as well as connecting the bluetooth it works for music from my cell phone as well as wireless headset usage

This home theater receiver has great features and produces great sound. Hooked up to streaming services for movie watching and also used with a cell phone to listen to Sirius/XM at home.

This is my second Yamaha. The first lasted us years and I have no doubts this second product will do the same. It has superior sound quality. I highly recommend this product.

Had an older model 6.1 Yamaha that I purchased in 2006. Was an excellent surround sound product that still works. Needed to upgrade to a model that supported HDMI interface.

The one I got (open box and clearance) just came with the unit and manual, no remote. I checked online to see if it was just because it was open box, but couldn't find anything that indicated this model came with one even new. Otherwise, it was an okay sounding cheap unit that had nothing special to offer. Given the price it would work for a budget system if you pick up a universal remote to control it.

Had a Yamaha 6.1 receive which is great. Need to upgrade to a receiver that had the hdmi interconnect and selected Yamaha again because it is a quality product.

This is my first receiver and I am very happy with the product. Works perfectly and has enough features for the pricepoint. Simple hook-up with my Polk speakers.

Having a TV in a great room made it hard to hear while sitting directly in front of it. With the home theater system, the sound is much better.

I see this receiver as one of the best 5.1 there is right now. No complaints, just read your manual if you don't understand something .

Perfect to push out better sound than a boxed set for surround sound. Paired nicely with 2 tower Yamaha speakers for my apartment.

Got a 4K tv, and my old receiver was component plugs only, no hdmi. Did my research, and I’m happy! Bluetooth allows me to access music on my phone and “crank it up” and the surround sound audio is fantastic! There’s a little gizmo that comes with it, that allowed me to fine tune my speakers for optimum spacing and output. “Mind blown” as we experienced the effects. Lots of sound field choices, and it will take time to explore everything this Uamaha can do. What are you waiting for?
