Love it

When you switch to stereo, hold on. I am running a 500watt powered sub myself. I cant go past 80%, out of respect for my neighbor. Amazing system, I WISH I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT SOONER.

Powerful, flexible, and intuitive

It is configured to give one options in terms of how to configure the system. The setup is intuitive. And the price was more than fair. Have always had great luck with Yamahas. Highly recommended.

Good Budget Receiver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I found this one day in the open box section at Best Buy for 45 bucks.. yes 45 bucks... kind of scratched up but it does 4k and I needed something in my bedroom to replace my HTIB setup connected to my 4k TV. At first, I could see why whoever owned it returned it.. the center channel audio was funky and way too high pitched. I ended up having the bright idea to update the firmware from the Yamaha website and it fixed all my problems. Great little unit. Other Thoughts - At this price point I would recommend spending a few extra bucks on an Onkyo for a few more features. Aside from that, I got this thing for 45 bucks so I am not really complaining since it is only in my bedroom.
