It was in sale and i picked it up. Does every thing I need it too. Took a few to set it up.

This receiver works as expected and has wireless connectivity and 4K capability that I like very much. I took one star away because of the crappy companion MultiCast app and the laggy integration with Spotify. The app works inconsistently and often doesn’t to the connect to the unit. As for playing Spotify, for me it was painful. My home network is fast but for some reason Spotify just lagged. I finally gave up and went back to Alexa

Better than Pioneer I had. Only one Optical in. This was ok because I didn’t need 2 like before because it has Bluetooth. Bluetooth works very well. I run a 2.2 system and it’s nice I can adjust the bass to not drown my Kef 100s. I couldn’t recommend the the Kef 100s and this Yamaha enough. Also use 2 klipsch 10” subs.

I used this receiver to power my Bose system at home. Love, that it connects to my WiFi network and can interact with Alexa. It’s nice that firmware updates can take place. An additional feature is that you can use your phone or i pad as a remote with the music cast app and you can transmit to some Bluetooth speakers.

A great home theater receiver for a smaller room. Does everything I need it to do, plus the price was right. This is the 3rd in a long line of Yamaha receivers I've owned. Had to upgrade the first one because it doesn't have hdmi connection. Replaced with an rx A1010 for my main home theater unit. I like Yamaha.

Excellent sound and blue tooth connection. A very good value.

This unit is very versatile with it's many simple to use features. Plenty of HDMI ports for adding various other devices. Plenty of power for the average home theater\audio setup. Have had absolutely no problems after 18 months of use. Yamaha builds quality products!

good product sound is great and is work we 4k good clarity

My current Sony receiver lasted 3 flat screen tvs but with my new 4k tv I had to upgrade it again ... It was worth the money because I came out of the dark ages and now use my cell controls almost everything in the house. Music Cast App works well and I can listen to my cell's playlist.

Great unit for the price though it is very complicated to install

Replaced a similar older Yamaha surround receiver, It does what it is supposed to do, and new features such as Wi-fi.

It was easy to hook up all speakers HDMI cables and sons awesome

The Yamaha 5.1 is a easy to use unit, That provides excellent audio sound.

This is my second Yamaha receiver. I loved the first one but this one surpasses by highest expectation. It was very affordable, easy to use and has great sound quality and picture transfer when using it as a pass through. I highly recommend this receiver.

I got this receiver when my previous Onkyo went out. I love the sounds of the Yamaha receivers and musiccast looks to be a solid addition. As soon as it links with Alexa's and they work out the SiriusXM bugs it will be a five star receiver. These fixes are supposed to be coming this Fall.

The receiver is great and works well. However, the compatibility is a challenge. There were some challenges pairing with our cable box and wireless Bluetooth. The system will cut out at a special volume. Will work in a different space but not where we originally wanted it.

This receiver is awesome for an inexpensive model. I was having trouble getting my new 4k tv to work with my old denon and this did the trick. Glad I found this product at a great price.
